I'm onboard with the ghost cards not earning rewards but its not a fix for the economic drain that keeps pushing asset prices down. To hear the creator of the economy @yabapmatt say it's great for someone to come in and build an army of 10k bots as long as they put a little money into the economy is a little shocking to me.

The point in an army of bots is always going to be to remove more than they add to the economy and to do it in a way that ultimately pushes the margins lower for everyone else as the efficiency of farming the game goes up. If playing the game makes a penny per day for them, they will run 10k bots to exploit that penny while the average player who can't work as quickly and efficiently and duplicate the efforts to make a penny worth it, will quit.

This will continue to push asset prices down like we've been seeing for months. It will push human players out of the rental markets and giving them no reason to buy.

You might think bots renting is a good reason to buy but if the asset you buy keeps going down in value and the asset you receive for the rental (DEC) keeps going down in value then buying will never be a good options. If buying was a good option, the bot accounts would be buying.

Making bots rent more cards slows the bleeding. It doesn't stop the bleeding and it certainly doesn't start the healing.

Do things to increase the value of Dec and this game will come back. Simple things. Increase the minimum rental price from .1 to 1 dec. Sell the next pack in only Dec instead of SPS. Tell people the peg going back to .001 is not your goal (because it shouldn't be). Don't double the rewards pool if you aren't doubling your players or requiring double the CP. And for everyone's sake, build a better strategy around card releases. Flooding the market repeatedly is a bad strategy. You're not a kickstarter campaign anymore so stop selling cared like you are. There are better ways that are more fun, pull in at least the same amount of cash, and encourage playing the game while getting people more into lore.

Actually, what is really harming the game are the bots and in their obsession with being a decentralized game and not wanting to ban them, they take measures that really do not harm the bots, I think they harm real people and as long as they do not stop the bleeding as you say, they really go the same problems keep coming up. The issue of continually releasing packs of cards is another problem, if they don't let the supply be absorbed, they will never increase in value for those who invest in the game, they already fill their pockets with millions of dollars in each sale of packs.

As I listened to the AMA and heard @yabapmatt say over and over again that all he thinks about is the player to player economy and adding value to assets without enriching themselves all I could think of was how many choices they make that do the exact opposite of that.

If my card collection going form $200k to $50k is them working to build value, I'm begging them to please stop bringing me value. PLEASE STOP.

@yabapmatt Please for the love of god. Stop adding supply. The creation of supply is not the same as the creation of value.
