BATTLE MAGE SECRETS - LOST MAGIC

Salve salve gurizadinha do Splinter, como é que nós estamos? Tudo certo? De volta na área aí, iuri o Mágico fazendo o nosso post da semana e dessa vez com a regra de Magia Perdida.

Essa regra é uma das regras que eu acho bem divertida porque muda bastante a gameplay, cartas com habilidades como Espinhos e Return Fire se tornam ainda mais efetivas, já que temos a certeza de enfrentar só cartas com Melee e Ranged.

Na batalha que escolhi também temos umas das regras favoritas da gurizada, uma das mais recentes, Born Again, onde todas as cartas revivem com escudo completo e apenas um de vida.

Essas duas regras juntas já me indicam que será uma batalha que provavelmente vai ser ganha pelo escudo. O óbvio aqui é jogar de Mylor ou Ilthain, para aproveitar a ausência de cartas com Magia. E foi exatamente isso que nosso oponente fez:

PORQUE ESSAS CARTAS?

Nosso oponente usou o nosso Mylor Crowling para dar Espinhos para todas as cartas dele. Eu, sabendo que essa possibilidade poderia ocorrer, decidi por o Cornealus no final, pois com seu Healing e Thorns e dano razoavel, ele sempre é excelente contra Mylor. Como já virou quase obrigatorio em partidas de born again, coloquei nosso Martir Venari Marksrat em segunda posição, esperando que meu oponente fosse usar alguma carta com as habilidades de Snipe ou Opportunity, para que ele desse seu buff, agora duplo pelo born again, para o DiemonShark, nosso Tanque Monstro Rei dos Escudos. Usei também Kulu Mastermind pela sua habilidade de Escudo, que também diminui o dano do Espinho do Mylor e funciona em sinergia com o Deeplurker, pois ambos são Oportunistas. E por fim meu supertrunfo preferido, Halfling Alchemist, que tem um baixo custo e a habilidade de cortar ao meio o ataque de quem é acertado pelo seu dano.

Análise da batalha

A batalha se desenrolou mais ou menos como esperado a única coisa que não aconteceu foi o nosso oponente usar sniper ou oportunity, ele não usou nem um nem outro. Então o nosso Venari Marksrat demorou muito para ser usado e o Halfling Alchemist durou até o final da partida, o que não teria acontecido caso eles se tivesse usado snipe ou oportunity. Nossas cartas eram rápidas ainda mais com as habilidades da Kelya Frendul, então o DeepLurker e o Kulu conseguiram destruir o Coerl Lurker, que geralmente é um problema por causa de velocidade base alta e de sua habilidade Dodge, que dá mais 25 porcento de chance de esquiva. DiemonShark morreu e ressuscitou com escudo enorme, conforme eu havia previsto, e tankou sozinho praticamente todo o dano da partida. A partida se desenrolou tranquila e sem incidentes fora do esperado

This rule is one of the rules that I find really fun because it changes the gameplay a lot, cards with abilities like Thorns and Return Fire become even more effective, since we are sure to only face cards with Melee and Ranged.

In the battle I chose, we also have one of the favorite rules of the kids, one of the most recent, Born Again, where all cards revive with a full shield and only one life.

These two rules together already indicate to me that it will be a battle that will probably be won by the shield. The obvious thing here is to play Mylor or Ilthain, to take advantage of the absence of cards with Magic. And that's exactly what our opponent did:

WHY THESE CARDS?

Our opponent used our Mylor Crowling to give Thorns to all of his cards. I, knowing that this possibility could occur, decided to put Cornealus in the end, because with his Healing and Thorns and reasonable damage, he is always excellent against Mylor. As it has become almost mandatory in born again matches, I put our Martyr Venari Marksrat in second position, hoping that my opponent would use some card with the skills of Snipe or Opportunity, so that he would give his buff, now double for born again, to the DiemonShark, our Shield King Monster Tank. I also used Kulu Mastermind for its Shield ability, which also reduces the damage of Mylor's Thorn and works in synergy with Deeplurker, as both are Opportunists. And finally my favorite trunph, Halfling Alchemist, which has a low cost and the ability to cut in half the attack of whoever is hit by its damage.

Battle analysis

The battle unfolded more or less as expected the only thing that didn't happen was our opponent used sniper or opportunity, he didn't use either. So our Venari Marksrat took a long time to be used and Halfling Alchemist lasted until the end of the game, which would not have happened if they had used snipe or opportunity. Our cards were even faster with Kelya Frendul's abilities, so DeepLurker and Kulu were able to destroy Coerl Lurker, which is usually a problem because of its high base speed and its Dodge ability, which gives an additional 25 percent chance of dodge. DiemonShark died and resurrected with huge shield, as I had predicted, and single-handedly tanked pretty much all of the damage in the match. The match went smoothly and uneventfully.
