Sorry to hear about your experience. I was just thinking about joining splinterlands, mostly because I am attracted to the gameplay. However, it is quite normal in the game market for an item/character/hero to lose value over time as new characters and updates are released.

What I'm more curious about is the unfair gameplay and manipulations you have experienced. This, for me, is what really kills a game.

The currency side of the game may be volatile, but the gameplay shouldn't. It should stay fun and engaging otherwise it will focus more on trading and the game loses its overall value in the game market.

This is the sad reality of life. People kill the goose which lays golden eggs. In this case company is making profit but the players are being deceived by them. I have raised this issue many times but nobody pays attention to it.
