I made a human form design of the Fungus Flinger. I want to give it a simple and easy to follow art steps. While I'm more on a complicated art style render, I find this simple design a bit relaxing to make and I'm loving the process😁
Join me walk through the process of creation and hope you have fun as the art progress from the start to finish.

Digital Art Process

I put the reference on purpose to get the colors and started the sketch for the pose and composition of the character.
Then, I made the clean line art at the new layer.

In here, I added the base color starting with the skin color and also this is serve as a mask layer.
In the next image, I added the base color of each parts.

And here, I add a color variation in her hair, face and the head cap or hat.
In the next image, I added the shadow layer that is set to multiply blending mode. Just by adding these shadows makes the design looks like in 3 dimension.

And here, I add the the lights in an overlay blending mode.
In the next image, I added the shines in her eyes and the ball she is holding.

I add a rim light layer in a light blue color.
✨✨✨
Final Artwork
Lastly, I add the background some shadow below the character.
