Hello everyone and friends😁
I'd like to share to you my Artwork done for Social Media Challenge! in Splinterlands.

Join me walk through the process of creation and hope you have fun as the art progress from the start to finish.

Digital Art Creation Process

STEP 1
Sketching and Grayscale

I started with this rough sketch of the character's face on a small thumbnail then I scale it to fit in the canvass.

Next thing I did, is lower again the opacity of that rough sketch I made and add another layer on top. Start to make the lines more cleaner this time.

After doing my lines I did a grayscale below the layer of the line art. Defining the shadow and light areas of the face of Arachne Thug.

I was so happy with how it looks and I proceed to the next step.

STEP 2
Coloring Stage

Alright! I have the grayscale already, now I dive into color. I add the base color in multiply mode layer. For lightening it up I add another layer set to overlay mode.

I'm happy with the result and this time I want to render it now. I proceed to my next and final step.

STEP 3
Final Touch and Render

We are now at the end of the Stage/Process. I clean up the part with lines. As I go add the details of each parts of the illustration.

I try to define the shapes and pop out the forms a bit.

In this stage here I define more the lights that bounces on the face and make it more like an insect texture. Defining separations of the face texture.

As I go approach to the final rendering I finally see the creature becomes more insect because of the light that shines through its texture. I kinda like that color of the upper part of the forehead and so I continue it to my final stage.

Overall, I finally end up changing the color of its skin here to a blueish one just like the forehead. Darken the background and added spits of saliva in its mouth.
