Animated Corpse - Social Media Challenge

Hello to all the Splinterlands community, in the horror genre I like zombies so I wanted to make one, but taking as a reference a card that has this theme in the world of Splinterlands, I found Animated Corpse, from the Alpha and Beta edition, Splinter of death.

The design of the character I liked a lot and it was what I was looking for a zombie and I started to make my own way looking for several references to make this character, making several sketches to make the creation of this character respecting the characteristics of this character. The story of this character is as follows:

Hola a toda la comunidad de Splinterlands, en el genero del terror me gusta los zombis así que quise realizar uno, pero tomando como referencia a una carta que posea esta temática en el mundo de Splinterlands, encontré a Animated Corpse, de la edición Alpha y Beta, Splinter de muerte.

El diseño del personaje me gusto mucho y era lo que estaba buscando de un zombi y empece a realizar a mi manera buscando varias referencias para ir haciendo este personaje, haciendo varios bocetos para hacer la creación de este personaje respetando las características de este personaje. La historia de este personaje es la siguiente:

A fledgling Dark Eternal is also known as an Animated Corpse. Emerging from the Tar Pits of Creation in the Southern Waste of Mortis, each fledgling must first shed what remains of its mortal flesh. While in decay, the Animated Corpses are placed on the front lines to speed their transition.

Un Eterno Oscuro en ciernes también es conocido como Cadáver Animado. Al emerger de los Pozos de Alquitrán de la Creación, en los Desperdicios del Sur de Mortis, cada recién nacido debe despojarse primero de lo que queda de su carne mortal. Mientras están en descomposición, los Cadáveres Animados son colocados en primera línea para acelerar su transición.

Process

I started making the sketch digitally by drawing several reference lines using a reference to make the pose and adding the characteristics of the main character of this drawing.

Empece haciendo el boceto de manera digital trazando varias lineas de referencias utilizando una referencia para realizar la pose e ir agregando las características del personaje principal de este dibujo.

In this phase I was adding a base color to each of the elements as the skin I used a green color and for the clothes I applied two tones a mustard yellow and a red, then I rendered the face using a dark blue color, I continued adding details of the mouth, this stage was not in the main character and was an extra that I wanted to add to make it as a mythical walker.

En esta fase le fui agregando un color base a cada uno de los elementos como la piel use un color verde y para la vestimenta aplique dos tonos un amarillo mostaza y un rojo, para luego ir renderizando el rostro utilizando un color azul oscuro, seguí agregándole detalles de la boca, esta etapa no estaba en el personaje principal y era un extra que le quise añadir para realizarlo como un mítico caminante.

Once all the details were added to each of the elements, I continued with the background using a dark color and a light reflection in a corner using a yellow color.

Una vez agregado todo los detalles a cada uno de los elementos seguí con el fondo utilizando un color oscuro y un reflejo claro en una esquina utilizando un color amarillo.
