Merdaali Guardian - Social Media Challenge

Hello everyone, I had some time without drawing and this time I want to show you a fanart I made for the Splinterlands weekly challenge, the card I selected is called Merdaali Guardian, the character design is of a mermaid, this is a water splinter card from the edition called Chaos Legion.

In the elaboration of this drawing, I did it as a portrait making it in a semi-realistic way, the story of this card is the following:

Hola a todos, tenia tiempo sin dibujar y en esta ocasión les quiero enseñar un fanart que hice para el desafió semanal de Splinterlands, la carta que seleccione se llama Merdaali Guardian, el diseño del personaje de es de una sirena, esta es una carta del splinter de agua de la edición llamada Chaos Legion.

En la elaboración de este dibujo, lo hice como un retrato haciendolo de manera semirealista, la historia de esta carta es la siguiente:

The Merdaali Guardians are a noble group committed to protecting all sea life and do not pay much attention to the affairs of people and the land. They are graceful to behold, often adorning themselves with shining jewelry. They prefer pacifism to conflict and are adept at healing and helping others through their connection to magic. However, when the Chaos Legion came to the Splinterlands, they swore to use their magic to protect what they hold most dear.

Los Guardianes Merdaali son un grupo noble comprometido con la protección de toda la vida marina y no prestan demasiada atención a los asuntos de la gente y la tierra. Son elegantes a la vista y suelen adornarse con joyas brillantes. Prefieren el pacifismo al conflicto y son expertos en curar y ayudar a los demás gracias a su conexión con la magia. Sin embargo, cuando la Legión del Caos llegó a las Tierras Esparcidas, juraron usar su magia para proteger lo que más aprecian.

Process

I started by making the silhouette of the monster as a portrait, keeping the main characteristics of the character, and then I continued with the coloring stage.
