It is time to quit playing splinterlands

With this kind of EOS rewards in diamond chest and with the new update make me decided to quit the game.
All of my friend who played splinterlands already quit since the start of soulbound rewards.
Their resons are:

1. You can can't recover the amount of DEC you use for rent.
2. The soulbound rewards will take 2 years to be able to sell. During that time the cards worth will be almost nothing as everyone will have it.
   Their point is when playing the game you are ready to throw away your money and don't expect for any return. The game is already pay to play and not play to earn. it is a waste of money and some of their time.

I understand their reason as i experience it also. I think this is as far as i go on playing. I will just wait if the land will be succesful or not.
