CHALLENGE RULES
CHALLENGE RULES
RULESET: Silenced Summoners
Description:
Summoners do not give any buffs/debuffs or grant/use abilities.
Use your lowest cost and highest level summoner within this ruleset.

My Battle Line Up:
My Battle Strategy:
Camila Sungazer was selected due to its 3-mana summoner, which aligns with the ruleset. This choice was made based on the flexibility it offers in selecting monsters, as there won't be any buffs distributed to the team by summoners. Opting for a summoner with the lowest possible mana cost is advantageous because it allows for more mana availability for other purposes.
The Void Dragon excels as a tank by effectively deflecting magical damage and evading both melee and ranged attacks. To ensure its longevity in battle, this tank relies on the support of healing monsters to keep it sustained.
The Dragon Jumper's primary role is to eliminate foes with low health, adding versatility to the entire lineup by targeting backline enemies. Additionally, this contributes to increased sustainability for the tank as it experiences less incoming damage.
Deeplurker is also a monster with opportunity ability is its role is the same as the dragon jumper to eliminate foes with low health.
Selecting Swamp Spitter, a ranged monster with a repair ability, might not be the best choice as this ability doesn't have a significant impact during the battle. Considering its high cost of 7 mana, I believe this could be a wrong pick.
The Merdaali Guardian plays a crucial role in extending the Void Dragon's presence in battle by providing healing support. This monster enhances the overall sustainability of the entire lineup by offering healing to any front-line monsters in need.
Uraeus is employed to deal damage to the opposing backline. This creature specifically targets the last-positioned monsters unless there is a Taunt monster in the opponent's lineup. With its respectable 2 melee damage output, Uraeus proves to be a valuable asset in the Bronze League.
My Observation:
As I observed the battle, it ended in defeat for me. The opponent's strategy outclassed my sustainability-focused approach. My entire lineup suffered due to their effective utilization of the martyr ability and the resurrect ability. Their strategy was well-suited to counteract my sustainability strategy. Additionally, the scattered damage on my side played into the advantage of Djinn Oshannus, ultimately leading to the devastation of my lineup. I must commend their strategy, as it was a clever tactic to leverage the martyr ability, resulting in not one but two resurrections and granting additional +1 stats to adjacent monsters upon its demise.

This concludes today's installment of the "Battle Mage Secrets" blog. I hope I've provided you with an insightful battle example. I'm thrilled that this Challenge has evolved into a valuable source of knowledge and inspiration for all participants. I extend my gratitude to Splinterlands for hosting this blog challenge, which not only offers us the opportunity to earn rewards but also allows us to promote the game across various social media platforms. Furthermore, the real treasure lies in the learning experience we gain from one another's shared battles and strategies. I eagerly anticipate our future encounters in the battle arena. Thank you, everyone!

This is my last Season Rewards. Not that exciting as it is a Bronze Chests.
