Splinterlands DIY fan art // FLYING SQUID (English /Spanish)

Love greetings to all my Hive friends, it gives me great pleasure to be once again in the DIYHub community celebrating this month's World Origami Day. This time I bring you one of my representations of the fabulous Splinterlands cards for their wonderful contest.

This time I bring you the FLYING SQUID card represented through beautiful paper folding art. This figure is very different from the ones I have presented before. In other occasions the figures were more realistic, but this one is simpler and funnier, ideal to play with the little ones. It is a squid made with white paper, respecting the original color of the character on the card.

For this you will need a perfect square of cardstock, a pair of scissors and a pencil.

We start folding as usual, making the guide lines. In the video you can see in detail each fold and follow the step by step to learn how to make this beautiful squid.

With the pencil he makes some shadows to reinforce the folds, since the cardboard is white I didn't want the figure to look too flat.

After folding, cutting and drawing a little we will have this beautiful paper figure of a very special flying squid. I hope you like it and enjoy folding paper with me. I had a lot of fun as always.

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, me da mucho gusto estar una vez más en la comunidad DIYHub celebrando este mes por el día mundial del origami. Esta vez les traigo una de mis representaciones de las fabulosas cartas de Splinterlands para su maravilloso concurso.

Esta vez les traigo la carta FLYING SQUID representada a través de hermoso arte de doblar papel. Esta figura es muy diferente a las que he presentado anteriormente. Ya que en otras ocasiones las figuras eran más realistas, pero esta es más sencilla y divertida, ideal para jugar con los más pequeños. Es un calamar realizado con papel blanco, respetando el color original del personaje de la carta.

Para esto necesite un cuadrado perfecto de cartulina, unas tijeras y un lápiz.

Empezamos a doblar como es costumbre, realizando las líneas guiar. En el video podrás ver detalladamente cada dobles y seguir el paso a paso para que aprendas a realizar este hermoso calamar.

Con el lápiz realiza algunas sombras para reforzar los dobleces, ya que por ser blanca la cartulina no quería que se viera muy plana la figura.

Después de doblar, cortar y dibujar un poco tendremos esta hermosa figura de papel un calamar volador muy especial. Espero les guste y disfruten de doblar papel conmigo. Yo me divertí un montón como siempre.
