Splinterlands DIY fan art // REXXIE (English /Spanish)

Loving greetings to all my Hive friends. I am pleased to be a new week in the wonderful Splinterlands Art Contest Week 279! sharing with you another Fan art of the wonderful Splinterlands cards, of course represented with my favorite art, origami.

For this occasion I bring you a card that I loved, it is REXXIE. I have always liked dinosaurs, this one in particular I found very cute. Contrary to its appearance, this one is, in the world of Splinterlands, a ferocious and fearsome beast. That also makes it much more interesting.

To work I only needed a square of green paper. I wanted a green color more faithful to the original, but that's what I found in the stationery store. I confess that I was a little disappointed, but when I saw the result I liked it a lot.

As I always say origami is fascinating, because it only requires a little bit of paper, but a curious heart and energetic hands to fold. The process was very simple, this is a very beautiful figure and one that children would certainly enjoy. But at the same time it has a lot of character, it is not completely flat, it has enough volume to make the character look interesting.

In the video are all the details to make this figure, just follow the steps. As always I have enjoyed very much to participate, since one of the things that I like the most when I learn to make a new figure, is to teach others to do it.

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive. Me complace estar una nueva semana en el maravilloso concurso Splinterlands Art Contest Week 279! compartiendo con ustedes otra Fan art de las maravillosas cartas de Splinterlands, por supuesto representadas con mi arte favorito, el origami.

Para esta ocasión les traigo una carta que me encanto, se trata de REXXIE. Siempre me han gustado los dinosaurios, este en particular me ha parecido muy tierno. Contrario a su apariencia este es, en el mundo de Splinterlands, una feroz y temible bestia. Eso también lo hace mucho más interesante.

Para trabajar tan solo necesite un cuadrado de papel verde. Quería un color verde más fiel al original, pero fue lo que encontré en la papelería. Confieso que me desencanto un poco, pero cuando vi el resultado me gusto bastante.

Como siempre digo el origami es fascinante, porque solo nos exige un poco de papel, pero un corazón curioso y una manos enérgicas para doblar. El proceso fue muy sencillo, esta es una figura muy hermosa y que sin duda los niños disfrutarían mucho. Pero al mismo tiempo tiene mucho carácter, no es completamente plana, tiene suficiente volumen para que el personaje se vea interesante.

En el video están todos los detalles para realizar esta figura, tan solo deben seguir los pasos. Como siempre he disfrutado mucho participar, ya que una de las cosas que más me gusta de cuando aprendo hacer una nueva figura, es enseñar a otros a hacerla.
