# Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 28 Report Card

It's closing in to the end of the splinterlands season so it's time to check out how I did last season. Like last season, I plan on staying in Silver league until the last day of the season to move up towards gold rank. The fights this season has been quite tough so I expect my rewards next season to be quite bad as well. Even if I upgrade my cards, it doesn't look like that is enough to offset the strong teams coming in from the modern league.

My ratio is down from last season and I kind of expected it because Splinterlands has only gotten tougher in terms of ranked battles. I'll see how things go but I barely ended in Gold II last season and I would have wanted a bigger buffer if I could. I'll be advancing my league tomorrow so I will see how tough gold is tomorrow after all these anti-bot changes.

The number of reward cards is down but I already expected that to happen. There were no legendary cards this time around but I did get more epic cards in exchange and there was two gold foil rares in place of the 3 gold foil commons from the previous season. The amount of potions is about the same, but I did get more SPS, merits, and chaos legion packs.
In fact, the two chaos legion packs make it a great season overall. The SPS ranked rewards have gone up due to the anti-bot changes because the reward pool for modern is way higher than that of the wild leagues.

I haven't managed my rentals at all and I have seen quite a few people drop down in their rentals since the anti-bot measures have been placed. So I am not surprised to see it go down and I need to manage it again to place my duplicates after all these changes.

The net SPS is up due to the increased rewards from ranked battles. Other than that, there are slight changes to each of the different fields but not much has really changed.
With another good season in the run, I am up to 3 out of 4 good seasons with this new strategy. I'll see how things go but I am liking the idea of claiming gold season chests because the rewards there are more worthwhile. I still prefer fighting in Silver so I don't get destroyed in ranked battles though.

The fights are definitely tougher, I got to the gold league this season and was kicked out so I will end the season in Silver. Though it is also because I have limited time playing lately.
Even with the battles being tougher I like the SPS rewards for ranked battles and the human competition.
