It's near the end of another season so it's time to check in to how well I did last season. Just like the previous season, I started in Silver and moved up to Gold league during the last few days. It wasn't a bad season and it worked out quite well like usual.

I have a win ratio greater than 1 so I am happy with how well I did. It's what I expected for starting in Silver and only moving up to Gold towards the end of the season. I prefer it this way because I prefer to win more than I lose.

The rewards weren't as good as last season but there isn't much I can do about it. I do think I got fewer chests overall and the difference isn't too large. I did get a gold foil common card but I didn't get a legendary card this time around. There is also one less pack and I received fewer merits and SPS. My ranked battle rewards are about the same as the previous season though.

It looks like rental prices are down and I kind of expected it when I was reviewing the performance of the rental bot. The amount the bot earned near the start of the season was a lot lower than I expected and I know that we are still in a bear market. It's only about 10% down in terms of DEC but it's still better than what I was getting before using the rental bot.

It's a bit weird to see the numbers on the SPS rewards vary so much from the previous season. I wonder if it was caused by me collecting everything when I write up my season ending rewards. This might give the next season a difference of a few days worth of SPS. Either way, I wonder if there is less SPS staked because my staking SPS rewards have gone up the most.
Overall, it's not a bad season even if the rewards are a bit less than last time. I prefer the strategy of sitting around in Silver and getting easier fights until the last few days. I have considered trying for the ranking rewards but my deck just isn't strong enough to stay in those ranking spots and I am able to claim a few extra seasonal chests by moving up to the next league.

I have only moved up to the Gold league a few hours ago, I learn this strategy of hanging around in the Silver league from you, and it's been okay so far dealing with a tougher opponent in Gold can be time-consuming.

I think it's the best strategy and I honestly feel better having a higher win rate rather than struggling through gold for chests. Sure, we might have a higher chance of getting something more worthwhile but I find that stress to not be worth it.
