Brawl Report : Moving back up into Tier 3 Brawls after dominating Tier 2. We now reward our Top players in our three Brawling Guilds. Join and win some $THGAMING!
THGaming Brawlers - 1st place in Tier 2 (5th week in a row)
Again, quite a tough week for me in THGaming Brawlers where I got 3 Wins and 2 losses. We did win the Brawl however as our team performed really well overall! The big news is that our Guild is now full and thus we have moved back up into Tier 3 Brawls. While the competition will be a lot fiercer, we only need to finish 5th or 6th to receive the same rewards for a first place finish in Tier 2, so I do think moving back to Tier 3 is a good move. Time will tell!
We have welcomed two new members into the THGaming Brawlers Guild : @megakb and @thegodfogger. Hope to see some great brawling from you guys!
Guild News
We have started rewarding our Top brawlers in our three brawling guilds, who now receive $THGAMING Tokens for outstanding achievements each week. Our Top Guild THGaming Brawlers is now full (21 / 21 members), but THGaming 1 (Tier 2) and THGaming 2 (Tier 1) both have spaces available and we're looking for active brawlers.
@doomz is my 2nd Splinterlands account, which plays Brawls in THGaming 2 Guild, where I managed to get 4 Wins 2 Losses, exactly the same result as last week.
We are still looking for active Splinterlands Brawlers to join us and win some $SPS and $THGAMING Tokens. My Frey-15 Brawl Performance

This week I was again able to win 3 out of 5 Brawls. The competition is a bit easier in Tier 2 but I'm still up against accounts with levelled Summoners and Monsters, so I do rent a number of cards to make myself more competitive.
BRAWL DETAILS : I played Brawl Frey 15 (Silver Level, Goldfoil, Wild). I currently own 111 Goldfoil Splinterlands Cards, including 7 Summoners (covering all Splinters).
With the addition of the new Soulbound Summoners and the new CONSCRIPT ABILITY & RULESET (which allows the use of one additional Gladiator card in League battles) Gladius Cards are a lot more valuable and Guild Brawls are the only way to earn MERIT POINTS used to buy these Gladius Packs! If you aren't in a Brawling Guild and want to start earning $SPS & MERITS, we'll happily Welcome you into the THGaming fam.
Reviewing Three Brawl Battles - Frey 10
Most readers don't have time to go through overly detailed posts, so I will summarize three battles below : 2 wins and 1 loss. If you have any questions or observations feel free to reply in the comments.
Jim-Crypto - Brawl Battle Review 1 (Win) : 41 Mana
RULESETS : Stampede, Lost Legendaries, Fire and Regret
Summoner Used : DELWYN DRAGONSCALE *4
MVP : DELWYN DRAGONSCALE *4 (see below) simply for providing my Magic inspired team with +1 extra damage.
THE FIGHT : This was a pretty straightforward battle with high Magic damage doing the work for me. My opponent in the meantime had two Melee attack cards XENITH MONK and IMPERIAL KNIGHT at positions 2 and 3 in their lineup that couldn't do any damage. My opponent was clearly relying on DRYBONE BARBARIAN to do the majority of the damage up front, but he was taken down fast by some brutal Magic attacks.
LESSON LEARNT : DELWYN DRAGONSCALE is a cheap Summoner to rent even at higher levels, and definitely worth adding to your lineup, even if just as a rental. My opponent didn't have much synergy with their combinations, and probably doesn't have a lot of Goldfoil cards to choose from. The battle was over in 4 rounds without me losing even 1 of my monsters.
Jim-Crypto - Brawl Battle Review 2 (Win) : 37 Mana
RULESET : Briar Patch (Thorns), Enrage, Stampede (Trample)
Summoner Used : BORTUS *3 (Rented)
MVP : Briar Patch -Thorns- Ruleset (seen below), for helping my opponent to kill themselves while attacking my Tank Cards in the front.
THE FIGHT : So for this Battle I used the Summoner BORTUS thinking my opponent would go for a Magic attack, seeing as the Briar Patch (Thorns) Ruleset would hurt any Melee attackers. However my opponent must have misread the Battle Rules or simply thought they could power their way through, and still went for a strong Melee attack, using the Water Summoner POSSIBILUS THE WISE. Again my front row tanks were able to power through while my poor opponent's cards destroyed themselves on the Thorn damage.
LESSON LEARNT : Read the Rulesets properly. My opponent here made a mistake and did all the damage to themselves.
Jim-Crypto - Brawl Battle Review 3 (Loss) : 20 Mana
RULESET : Briar Patch (Thorns), Target Practice (Sniper), Ferocity (Fury)
Summoner Used : IMMORTALIS *2 (Rented)
MVP : DOCTOR BLIGHT (seen below) from my opponent. DOCTOR BLIGHT single handedly took down my favourite Gladiator card QUORA TOWERSHEAD
THE FIGHT : I was confident in this battle going in, but my opponent pulled out a mighty Level 2 Goldfoil DOCTOR BLIGHT, whose POISON and AFFLICTION stopped my QUORA TOWERSHEAD in her tracks. It's a battle worth watching just to see how effective DOCTOR BLIGHT can be in the right situation, although a Goldfoil level 2 version sells for $280 (open market) so he isn't a cheap addition to your lineup!
LESSON LEARNT : Moving my QUORA and FUNGUS FLINGER to the back would have allowed me 1 more hit which could have won me the battle, but certainly not a certainty. The game RNG wasn't on my side this time and DOCTOR BLIGHT'S skills of AFFLICTION and POISON both affected my QUORA. If either of these skills had NOT fired, I probably would have won this battle.
THGAMING Guild Brawl Finishes and Rewards
This Brawl week THGaming Brawlers emerged as our highest placed Guild with a 1st place finish! Below you can see the summarized Guild performances and $SPS winnings.
🏆 THGaming Brawlers (1st place) TIER 2 BRAWLS - The guild has won spoils of 55 Crowns in the latest brawl! Also, each fully participating member was awarded 3,094 Merits and 20.965 staked SPS.
🏆 THGaming 1 (10th place) TIER 2 BRAWLS - The guild has won spoils of 9 Crowns in the latest brawl! Also, each fully participating member was awarded 394 Merits and 4.665 staked SPS.
🏆 THGaming 2 (7th place) TIER 1 BRAWLS - The guild has won spoils of 8 Crowns in the latest brawl! Also, each fully participating member was awarded 369 Merits and 6.011 staked SPS.
I'm sure most of you already know that @splinterlands has made Guild Brawls truly profitable and Guild Brawlers now win staked $SPS Tokens for Brawl participation. The amount of $SPS you earn is dependent on your Guild Tier (Arena level), Guild Participation (how many Freys are filled) and how well you actually finish in the Brawl each week.
