Odd Ones Out Against Zaku

I have been having the better of ZAKU lately and it only feels great that there are now ways to beating the most fearful summoner in the game and sometimes not just beating but brutally wiping out ZAKU and its monsters.

The game is getting tougher with newer edition packs, we need to up our strategies to stay competitive in the game. The other day @josediccus took me to the cleaners with his level 2 summoner against my level 4. You may watch the battle here

In this battle, I had to ignore the Reverse ruleset and focus on doing the damage from the enemy backline. Let us go through my lineup.

I was freedom at the enemy backline without SAND WORM being a target so AGOR LONGTAIL led my frontline with the Taunt ability so every opposing attack is thrown at it. The Flight and Void Armor abilities do help it absorb more blows and it most times absorbs and evades some to survive the battle.

It could all go wrong for AGOR quickly, so URIEL THE PURIFIER in the second spot was my backup Tank, a reliable Tank high in Health, Armor with Heal, Flight, and Recharge abilities that enemy monsters should avoid being hit. It turned out URIEL wasn't required to step in the frontline with AGOR in control.

I had anticipated ZAKU so GARGOYA SCRAPPER was meant to fill space and take a Blast hit should URIEL step in the frontline. SCRAPPER happened to be a spectator.

My lineup could do with extra +1 Health to friendly monsters, DJINN RENOVA came in with the Strengthen ability.

ADELADE BRIGHTWING was the only monster in my lineup that stuck with the Reverse ruleset being the slowest monster in the battlefield and in the case of this battle the first to attack. It occupies the fifth spot in my lineup with Flight, Repair, and Resurrect abilities.

With such a high Melee damage you don't want a free SAND WORM wrecking havoc at your backline, In this battle, SAND WORM was free in eliminating 3 enemy monsters with the 4th one LAVA LAUNCHER saved by Armor but unsafe from AGOR'S finishing.

Another one of those victories against ZAKU lately.
