Is Venari Seedsmith Underrated & Undervalued?

A quick disclaimer for those that might be new to my blog...

I'm a Splinterlands noob!

And it's not that I'm new to the game, I've been around since literally day one....But actually playing and learning the game play, I'm a blank slate!

I've made the commitment to learn by playing more, taking part in the brawls and completing my daily quests!

With that, I'm actually starting to figure a few things out....

I've taken a strong liking to the Earth Splinter.

My go to summoners have been Mylor or Llama, depending on rule sets and the mana of each match. I seem to get the best results when I play these cards, and I know they are standard for this splinter but because of my focus on this splinter I've been learning what cards are most effective!

That being said...I'm in no means an expert, but one of the sneakier plays I've been focusing on has been using this guy...

A few notes about one of my favorite cards in Earth...

I'm starting to learn where to play this card when I'm setting up my line ups. He's got ranged attack which I've become a fan of, but adds the scavenger ability right out of the gate...

What I've figured out is this is a fantastic card right in the middle of your line up. He's a little pricey at 5 mana so he won't fit in the low mana matches but wow...Scavenger!

What an awesome ability especially if you have Kron or Mitica in front of him racking up the kills.

But here's the kicker...

Seedsmith is only 80 cents per BCX on the markets right now!!!

I get it, he's part of the new rewards deck so there's plenty of supply yet to be mined but maybe I'm missing something...

Is this one of the more effective cards in the earth splinter????

Again, I'm a noob...So if I'm missing out on a glaring reason why this card isn't a must have and deserves such a low price...Please let me know!

For now, I'm going to start buying him up...

I just purchased a gold foil version of him tonight and have my standard version at level 5 with that slick little poison ability too ;)

At level 5 he's got 3 attack, 3 speed and 3 health across the board, so I'll be able to use him in the leagues I've been able to play in.

But I have dreams LOL

Dreams of getting this guy maxed out and to play with him one day...

Again....Maybe I'm just such a noob I'm missing a glaring weakness for this card.

But right now, this has been my favorite card to play with in the Earth Splinter!
