Splinterlands: End Of The Season Rant
So I finished with 35 chests, one more better than last season. Overall the difference between two seasons ago and last season is just one BCX of legendary card, the frexian Hero. It's a card I've been wishing to get for a very long time.
A Coveted Legendary Card
Its weapons training ability makes it very coveted, and seeing that I've got it now, it's the biggest motivation for last season. This card at level two is a beast, but having even one BCX of it is good. Another card I've covered badly is the USUT, but maybe one of these days I'll be lucky enough to get it.
So, another average reward this time. The SPS reward was also small. I couldn't use splinterinfo to check it (the site has been buggy for days now) but I think it was less than 11 SPS or something like that. Poor for me, very poor.
But the outcome of every season gives hope for another season. The system has changed and I tested the new season yesterday.
It was really chaotic. I faced a lot of players with big summoners and I even tried to play in Modern again but I still couldn't play with my maxed summoners.
Overall, it was bad in modern and this new system hasn't made playing in the modern any easier. It's that time of the market when big investors are going to be going in big with investing because in 12 months' time, splinterlands will be a different kettle of fish. I read a post where a player talked about having a Splinterlands account worth one million dollars.
This is staggering to think of it, and I think that playing Splinterlands will be a lot harder because we're no longer in the bear season when people are too hesitant to invest.
I finished in Gold 3 yet again and failed to get into Gold 2. It's the 5th or 6th season in trying and have failed. It's just a mission impossible. Once I'm just one win away from getting to Gold 2, I'm paired with these crazy guys and I lose like 5 or 6 games in a row. It was harder at the beginning and the end, and I'll try again this season to see how it goes.
7K SPS
Finally, I've hit 7k SPS. I've spent about $20 cumulatively buying SPS in the last two to three weeks or so and finally, I've gotten past 7k, my goal is to hit 10k as soon as possible, the more SPS, the more chest I can get. I'm thankful for the 16k delegation on still getting, it's been immense for my journey thus far.
Guild
My Guild has not been doing well and I don't really know why. A lot of players are not filling their fray and this makes it hard for us to earn more merit and SPS. In the previous 3 or 4 outings, players have hardly turned up and we're down the pecking order and earning very poorly. I got 5 wins and 3 losses in my last outing and we managed a miserly 7. Something very poor SPS, but we keep pushing and hopefully the guys can fill their fray as often as before.
Buying $ Opening A Gladius Case
I bought a a gladius case yesterday with some of the merit I had and I got one epic card and two rare, and I got another copy of the MARISOL CONTUMA after not getting any for over 10 months. Sweet, really sweet, and I just need two more card to get it to level two.
Hopefully, it'll be a different season this time. I haven't started too badly or too well this season, just in between. But let's see how it goes. A piece of advice. This is the best time to buy any Splinterlands assets, in 3 to 4 months might already be too late.

I guess keeping it constant will eventueally always get you there. I remember when my account was like 9 times the size as what itis now in the gaming crazy. Am not counting this out to go again for it this year.

Congratulations on the Ferexian! I hope prices will climb now that we are seeing crypto shoot up, my only question being how long will this one last? You had the same SPS luck I had EOS, none at all. No jackpots!
Marisol is a great pickup, I'm still hoping for a gold Quora or a few more plain ones to get to level two.
Keep at it, I still am! In a year with Rebellion getting more mainstream it will be a whole different game.

I thought I was the only one who has a terrible end of the season reward. I didn't have any copy of the frexian before now, so another extra card for me to compete with, but my SPS haul has been concerning. Terrible for 3 seasons in a row.
A Gold Quora is almost unbelievable, I think it's quite a rare occasion as I've not really seen anyone with a gold Quora.
I'm okay today, just pushing through anyways. How about you?

That's a nice legendary card there especially for Super Sneak or Opportunity battles.
Yeah, even this card will do well with equalizer Ruleset and opportunity. I've played against it and it was very deadly

I finished in Gold III as well. It's been tough but the current season is really rough. I keep losing a lot and I see a lot of maxed card accounts around. I don't think it's really working.
It's not working for guys like us, once again, the big guys get to win.
