Splinterlands: Guild Gameplay (Another Outing)

png_20231006_125122_0000.png

I decided to join the latest fray in my guild to see if I could partake in the SPS reward this time. Just like last time, it wasn't a very good outing for me. Like I always do, I join the silver fray, where I can equally compete with all my cards.

I have been playing in my Guild for six months now and I still don't understand how everything works, however, I have gotten around to properly using the fray and also how to contribute to the Guild power (I've done this only twice). However, the ruleset in the previous fray and this one were not favorable.

The rulesets and Mana that were provided didn't play to the strongest of my cards or strategies and most of the time, I've lost because I wasn't lucky enough, or there were not enough summoners to execute a particular ruleset.

However, I think I was more absentminded this time, I didn't scrutinize most of my tactics before I sent them into battle just like I always did. I also failed to utilize some of my gladius cards, probably because I didn't find ways to play them appropriately like I usually find a way to play them with my soulbound summoners.

On the other hand, I still don't have some of the most effective gladius cards, a lot is still missing in my collection, sometimes, I find my gladius cards more useful to me in my regular gameplay than the guild. Another thing is having enough merit to buy gladius cases.

I haven't bought any Gladius case in close to two weeks because I haven't gamed a lot and I haven't been lucky with my guild outcome and results. It's been two consecutive times I haven't done well.

This time, I was stipulated to play 8 games, and I came out with a meager 3 wins and 5 losses. It was almost identical to the last outing, and this time, I knew we weren't going to get close to 20 SPS just like we did the last time.

It's probably because I haven't been able to play with 100% concentration. It wouldn't be cool to fill in the fray and not play it, it would not be fair to my guild members. Hopefully, as time goes on, I might get my head back in the game to compete as I used to.

This time around, I was lucky to get a Gold, level 3 whistling Damon, a common, range death elemental card. It's the first time I'll ever be getting a gold card as well since I've started opening Gladius cases.

I only got a legendary once and I talked about it in the past and how of was a special moment for me as well. I know it's a common card, but it's a decent gold, level 3 card that's very handy, especially when using it in regular gameplay.

Nice pull of a GF card with Captain Katie that is always a useful gladiator.
Good luck with your next brawl for at least over 50% win rate.

The fights are tough and I got demolished in my most recent brawl. It's my worst result ever for a brawl I think. I went 1 out of 6 I think but I kind of expected that out of a gold league gold foil brawl.

Nice gladius pack opening. Gold foil cards are rare.

I think the brawls are upgrading and players are bringing more formidable cards to the fight. Yeah, gold Gladius cards are rare. I'm imagining if it was an epic or legendary

It might be helpful to take a step back and analyze your gameplay strategy without being too hard on yourself. Reflecting on your tactics and understanding the areas where there were lapses can be a great learning experience.

Every loss provides an opportunity to learn and grow stronger in your gameplay, strategy formulation, and execution. =D

Yeah, I'll definitely do that, but I came up against some formidable teams and I couldn't provide any answers to their brutality. But I'll slowly get back into the game. It's been a very difficult time for me. Thank you and hope you're enjoying the Blockchain?

What I've discovered that works for me in Brawls is to not necessarily create lineups around gladiators. If they are good fits for the lineup, great, if not, I won't sacrifice a potentially better lineup just to make room for a gladiator. I started to treat Brawls a little bit like ranked games and my win rate improved.

The way the news is going today that the land gameplay is very close then it is very good news for the users and we will see the interest of the people in the game again in no time. And its prices will also be seen going up.
