Splinterlands: Guild Play Is Having A Different Outlook

For the first time in over 8 months, I had the most terrible outing, playing in the Guild which was winning only one game out of six. I mean it might not be as terrible. Some players constantly fill their fray without winning any game, but I have never been there, but winning only one game, wasn't so surprising.

So many players are already beginning to use rebellion cards to play the guild. I think the reason why it came as a shock to me was because I play in the wild format of the game, and I haven't faced the new cards as much.

I played against some of these cards head on and some of them are very solid, they looked competent and compact on the battlefield and I'm beginning to think we're going to have a feisty competition as the newer cards fight to remain relevant indeed. So here we have it, five losses and one win, and I was completely blown away. I think I was coming back from the hospital the day I had these fights, or maybe I was going, I cannot really tell.

The truth is that I was sort of mentally preoccupied and it was really affecting my output. Almost everything I do affects my output these days, I just do them to add more meaning to this newer reality of unraveling health complications. Back to Splinterlands, I still got my share for my Guild participation, and what do I know, I guess we won and lost some.

I got some colorful daily focus rewards yesterday playing with my favourite focus; water. So I was able to play without having to lose so much. One problem with upgrading cards is that without having the right summoner, you cannot play these cards. I have upgraded my Wily Coyotian to level 6. It now comes with phase ability, at just two mana, this card is well equipped to play in low Mana games, but I just don't have the summoner to play this guy.

So I'll just keep hoping I get more cards to upgrade some of my Soulbound cards just to play them. So I've been getting more SPS rewards than I used to in the past. It was always in 0.1s and 0.2s but in the past two days, it's been better. It's been a distracting season for me, I've not really had to play much, but I'm thankful, thank God I can still find the morale to play. It's been the roughest and toughest phase of my life.
