Splinterlands Art Contest Week 284! | MAR TOREN SEEKER Fanart

Hi there aliens of hive and specially to splinterlands, I will be sharing my entry to this 284th week of Splinterlands art Contest. For this particular week, I made a fanart of Mar Token Seeker with my own taste. I draw him in an anime style and made him a little bit younger. Somehow it reminds me of Fishmen from One Piece when the strawhat pirates travels underneath the ocean to reach the Fishman Island before traveling to the new world. Anyway let's hop into the drawing process. . .

Materials Used: clip studio paint software and drawing tablet which is XP PEN artist 12

• I used a blue brush strokes of messy lines to start the rough sketch of Mar Toren Seeker, I like using this color as my first step as this step needs construction and reconstruction for the final pose.

• Lower the opacity of the blue lines then trace over that to create a cleaner lineart
  

• Furnish that clean lineart and close all the gaps as much as possible so that I could efficiently use the fill the bucket tool.

• then color all the base colors needed

• Then here comes the fun part the shading process.

• Lastly are the highlights.
