Even though my Splinterlands experience is secondhand through my daughter, she came into Splinterlands only after a lot of blogging experience. For this reason it was really easy for her to create quality and entertaining posts about Hive gaming, but she also lacks the knowledge of a lot of the mechanics and inner-workings of Splinterlands because 95% of her Hive energy is devoted to blogging-related stuff.
I do wish there was more Hive-blogging and Splinterlands crossover, these two things seem to host the most activity on this blockchain. I think the inverse is also true, many Hive-bloggers also know very little about the gaming side of our blockchain.

Actually it is Splinterlands which covers 95% or more of hive transactions. Without Splinterlands, hive blockchain would have been dead by now.
Geez! 😮 I knew the number was high, I always assumed at least 60% or 70% of the action, but that's astonishing. I don't know that I've ever seen it not in the top Dapp spot. I wish my daughter would pursue it more, it's fun to watch her play because it brings MTG memories from my teenage years.
Blockchain would not be dead, Hive would cost only 20 cents.
