in upper ranks, Almo Cambio, hands down.

in lower ranks, I think my favorite Tank is Harklaw, he's not powerful on his own, but Demoralize and Immunity on a Shield Tank bring a LOT to the Modern and Wild formats for Death!

I'm very new to this but I would pick Unicorn Mustang. High health and Void ability are helping me as a novice.

A L3 Lord Aria is the best Tank, hands down

Almo is pretty sick due to him being a meat shield with some evasiveness.
I also have been enjoying Kralus when the opportunity presents itself - Two damage types, built-in shield, and pretty solid HP.

I've come to respect Silvershield Paladin a lot more recently. As a 5 mana tank with Shield, it's pretty similar to a Serpentine Soldier at level 1, but it gets bulkier instead of faster as it levels up. Life splinter is pretty good at keeping its health and armor topped up, and the Magic Reflect it eventually gains is also really useful in many matchups.

My favorite tank at bronze league is the Frozen Soldier. Combined with Venari Wavesmith, he's got 7 armor with the shield ability. He's pretty useless if the enemy is using magic, but otherwise he can last for a long while.

My favourite is Living lava.From my first days in the game i could always count on lava to protect my assasins!!!I have yet to own one but its one of my goals.

Hey im just starting out in the game so i would have to say Unicorn Mustang. The void ability and high health have been getting me wins.

My favorite tank is the Living Lava because of how it reduces melee attacks in half. It is always useful and provides the ability to protect a monster with reach behind it like Fineas Rage

Anyway, my favorite tank is SEA MONSTER, is very useful when you know that your enemy will use magic (i usually use it with Bortus), but also is useful for venom or/and eartquake matchs

Lobstradamus - costs only 6 MP, has 9 HP and Shield Ability + it has 1 Mage Atk with buff this can be 2.

I have many favorite tanks, but to mention only one, I love Torhilo the Frozen. Although, he's slow and uses lots of mana, I like his strong punch and his ability to reduce magic attacks. That and his high health and strong defense makes him ideal to use in pair with Bortus, specially against Alric Sotrmbringer. Then, when many players align Alric and lots of mages, I use Bortus, Torhilo and a couple of hard hitting cards for a certain win. He doesn't even get a scratch! That's why I love that tank. When i play with water summoner my Fav tank is Torhilo The Frozen, because he has 4 mala attack and magic void.

Dark haon! Taunt ability is awesome! And work great with death splinters monsters

Serpent of Eld due to the fact that it is a tank with evasiveness. Pair it with Venari Wavesmith and you're on!

My favorite tank is Lava Golem, playing in low ranks like bronze gives him a lot of opportunity.A 12 mana match used with Lava Golem will be an easy win because of high damage and decent durability

Chain golem is the best for me. It has armor, hp, and -damage from melee and range

My favorite tank is Chain golem. In silver and gold rank , it's really utility by shield and void skills . Beside,it's neutral monster so it can use for all type of summoners.

My favorite tank is the kraken because when I play my water deck, if I combine him with a healer and add magic damage creatures to the rest, I usually win.

My favorite tank is Undead Rexx. At lower level, his 5 attack is rare in the lower ranks and at level 5 he gains Trample and it's fun to see him eat all the opponent cards, one after another.

Mine would be Naga Brute! I've always loved unusual tanks, and I think Naga Brute fits the bill and a strong one! With Thorns at Level 5 and Void Armor, it makes Naga Brute a strong tank in any situation. Easy to pair with monsters that have repair too!

My favourite tank would be Sea Monster! It is the first tank that I bought for myself, and i really like it's healing abilities!

My favorite tank is DJINN CHWALA, high armor and health, descent attack and the best - Thorns ability. And the card is not expensive 😀.

My favorite tank in the game for me is Living Lava, for the ability of the shield, I played with the summoner Malric Inferno and opportunist cards. So I can take down all the second line of enemies. The only disadvantage is when I play against magic.

Haunted spirit for dark. He is so reliable in lower ranks but if the enemy splinter is water it could be a 50/50 match. But right now I personally like sea monster. Becuase he is an upgraded haunted spirit in lower rank

My favourite tank right now is Shieldbearer.

My favorite tank in low level games with high mana is currently Shieldbreaker. A lot of health, up to 10 with the summoner Mother Khala and as I can put 2 healers in my holy deck he is near to invincible. The only way to kill him is to survive as long as the healers die in the back...

PS: I'm really sorry, that RNG is not giving out points for creativity. I think my summoner could have received some more credit there :D

I love Kelp Initiate. Super good value at 2 mana, high speed and high life. Works well for low mana battles

My prefer tank is the legendary Kraken. Why? Because its stats are insane. Of course the Mana needed to use the card is insanely high as well. Not fit for low Mana battle that's fire sure.

First, thanks for the SPS yesterday, (from when I post this,) I need all the help I can get. Now assuming you allow it, since your rules don't say otherwise; lets see if lightning can strike twice...lol

I find this question to be difficult as well since I try to keep my collection balanced so I have more options given the different rule-sets. Doubly so since I think meta play is boring and try to break meta teams when I think I can. Therefore, The only metric I can use to come up with a single favorite is art.

As far as the card art for tanks go, I think I like Phantasm the best. While I don't use it as much as I do Bone Golem, Every time I look at the card, I notice a new detail that I hadn't before that changes the way I see the image. I find that rather cool.

My favorite tank is the Haunted Spirit. The healing and 7 health to start means he can usually stand up to a couple of rounds of melee and even magic if you're lucky with your backline snipe or opportunity attacks. Even better when summoned by Mimosa and you get the void!

Living Lava, hands down. Reduced damage + melee monster with reach rarely fails.

My favorite tank is Stonesplitter Orc. While it doesn't have as much health and shield as I'd like to have in a tank, the Retaliate feature is awesome at quickly taking out an enemy tank - especially those with regeneration ability. !PIZZA

That's tough cuz there's so many, and I haven't done a lot of work on them. Djinn Oshannus is new and works well as tank or magic dps, so I suppose I'll throw that name out lol. Keep up the good fight :)

For me the best tank is Haunted Spirit. I start to play about 2 weeks ago and i am still in bronze where the healing ability and decent cost is really helpfull to win many battles.

My favorite tank is robo dragon knight, beast for magic, ranged and melee.

My Favorite Tank in @Splinterlands is KELP INITIATE ^_^

The is the best card for me, LV1 it only 2 cost, with 5 health. When you face same of the water deck with buff 1 magic attack, It is able to eat 3 attack.
