My Actifit Report Card: January 21 2024

What is the real man? This question is a very deep and complex subject on which different religions, philosophies, sciences and arts have presented their perspectives. I will try to give you the answer in the light of the Holy Quran.

In the Holy Quran, the reality of man has been described in many verses. Some of them are:

Man is the caliph of God. God has created man in His own image and given him the duty to represent Him on earth. Man has to establish truth and justice through knowledge and action and worship and gain closeness to God. 1

The cognitive capacity of man is more than all other creatures. God has taught man the names of all things and made him aware of all facts. Man has been given the power to work even with angels. 2

The nature of man is the knowledge of God. Man knows God in the depths of his nature and is aware of His existence. All doubts and thoughts are deviations from human nature and diseases. God has testified about His existence from man and man has also testified.
