Splinterlands art contest week 244/Hyena-original character

Hello, my hive art lovers happy to meet you again guys, today I'd like to share my new artwork for #splinterlands art contest week 244, I hope my entry is not too late.

Actually, I made an original character inspired by a hyena, then I combined my idea with a werewolf mythological creature and finally created a hyena character that is interesting and looks frightening, for weapons I chose to use an ax because where I (Indonesia) and used to be known there was a group of robbers with nicknamed red axe, usually they act more than one person by using an ax to attack their victims, very similar to the nature of hyenas I think, and for armor, I chose to use armor resembling the Japanese samurai model, please enjoy it.

Process

First I made grid lines to help me determine the proportions of the image using a pencil, then I started drawing pose lines and continued the sketching process.

My outline process uses pens and colored pencils for coloring, I use color pencils from the Faber Castell brand.
