BATTLE MAGE SECRETS : LOST LEGENDARIES RULESET

Lost Legendary is an easy-peasy conditions. Literally you can't use Legendary card in this battle. With the scarcity of Legendary card, this ruleset create less constraint for some players; and more to it these cards usually cost some extra mana, which means they less useful for low mana cap battle.

Pros & Cons

|---|---|---|
1. This ruleset could an advantage for players with limited collection power and limited access to very pricy Legendary cards; which surely level the battle with ordinary type cards. | 1. Conversely for players having abundance access to Legendary cards, this could pose a great disadvantage on high mana cap battle, since most of these cards will cost 8 mana or more. | |

Best Cards To Use
No particular cards would be better for use under this conditions. But basically the strongest cards next to Legendary cards should be the Epic cards. Meaning having abundance collection of Epic cards should be an advantage.

The battle has 29 mana cap, with Lost Legendaries as the rulesets; while only Fire and Life Splinters may be used. For my formation, I used:
| Position | Card Name | Level | Mana | Health | Armor | Speed | Damage Type | Damage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Summoner | Tarsa | 2 | 4 | - | - | - | - | - |
| 1st Row | Tusk The Wide | 1 | 6 | 12 | - | 1 | Melee | 1 |
| 2nd Row | Ant Miners | 3 | 2 | 2 | - | 2 | Melee | 1 |
| 3rd Row | Tenyii Striker | 2 | 5 | 6 | - | 3 | Melee | 2 |
| 4th Row | Uraeus | 2 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 2 | Melee | 2 |
| 5th Row | Pyromaniac | 1 | 6 | 4 | - | 4 | Ranged | 2 |
| 6th Row | Lava Spider | 3 | 3 | 5 | - | 3 | Ranged | 1 |
My opponent formation:
| Position | Card Name | Level | Mana | Health | Armor | Speed | Damage Type | Damage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Summoner | Helios Matriarch | 2 | 6 | - | - | - | - | - |
| 1st Row | Djinn Chwala | 2 | 8 | 9 | 5 | 2 | Melee | 3 |
| 2nd Row | Dax Paragon | 1 | 2 | 3 | - | 2 | Magic | 1 |
| 3rd Row | Celestial Harpy | 2 | 2 | 3 | - | 2 | Melee | 1 |
| 4th Row | Captain Kate | 1 | 7 | 6 | - | 2 | Magic | 3 |
| 5th Row | Venari Crystalsmith | 2 | 4 | 4 | - | 3 | Ranged | 1 |
| 6th Row | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - |
Well, I have nothing more to say under this battle. It just another battle runs regularly only without Legendary cards. I decided to go full Sneak attack by dedicating 3 cards with Sneak ability. The last row was reserved for Lava Spider to sustain any damage before its reach Pyromaniac. With this formation, I have limited position for Tanker. So I decided to go to Tusk The Wide with Ant Miners. Tusk The Wide is a great choice to sustain all type of attack. The Void will absorb magic damage while the large health should be enough to hold melee and ranged damage.
In the opposite side, my opponent run with limited formation of 5 cards. Around 50% of mana cap was allocated to 2 card, Djinn Chwala and Captain Kate. Their formation should crumble if any of those pillars are brought down. Having Helios Matriach seemed a gambling decision considering the extra mana of the summoner might be worth more to be allocated on formation cards. Dax Paragon and Celestial Harpy played minor roles as damage dealer, but actually more useful as canon fodder for Captain Kate to build its level. Venari Crystalsmith also a powerful addition to the formation. The Heal ability should helped the survival of Djinn Chwala.

My main challenges comes from Djinn Chwala and its Thorns which will be able to counter my majority melee cards. But the damage buff of Tarsa should offset the damage dealt against the Thorns damage. I lost my momentum to act in the 1st round, causing my formation have to sustain damage first. Fortunately no one got eliminated. But the combined attack of Celestial Harpy and Captain Kate has left Pyromaniac with 1 health remaining. Pyromaniac and Uraeus makes a combined maneuver to rout Venari Crystalsmith.

Captain Kate managed to score a kill on Pyromaniac thus gaining the first bloodlust effect. But it happen not before Pyromaniac land a shot into her. The exposed position of Captain Kate open an opportunity for Tenyii Striker and Uraeus to bring her down for good. Tusk The Wide still found difficulty to level the playing rhythm of Djinn Chwala, and not left at critical point of 2 health left.

Surprisingly Round 3 opened with Lava Spider landing killing strike into Dax Paragon. The battle continue with bloodbath as Tusk The Wide fall by Djinn Chwala, and then Celestial Harpy fall by Tenyii Striker. At this point Ant Miners have propel its health into 9 health. Several minor blow into Djinn Chwala drain its health into 7 health remaining.

At the start of Round 4, it clears that my formation overpowered my opponent 4 cards against 1 card. The total damage output is far than enough to bring down Djinn Chwala. It only need Uraeus to land the final blow and end Djinn Chwala for good.

CONCLUSION
There's no particular unique circumstances in this battle. Basically its just an ordinary battle on the go. The limitation on Legendary cards does not put so much constraint to the formation. The only main reason is Legendary cards mostly consist of card costing 9 mana or more. Under medium mana cap battle such this (29 mana), it would too costly to spend high mana on a single card alone. Even so there's a compulsion to use Legendary card, their use might be limited to 1 card at most in a formation. Mainly because there's too few variation of Legendary to fit certain battle conditions.
