SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLENGE : THE TRIANGULATION OF DUAL ELEMENTS SUMMONER

The rebellion editions has brought to us something unique to use in battle, and that is the dual elements summoners. These summoners didn't grant any status buff or debuff, but for a very minimum mana cost (3 mana), these summoners allows us to use monster cards from both elemental splinters. This cards are so much similar to Dragon summoner, except rather than use Dragon splinter, you get to use the elemental splinter instead. At one point, I semeed to underestimate the absence of buff & debuff, and thought that dual elemental splinter might be too much too handle (imagine the overload of having both under the wild format). But here let me show some tips and tricks of using the dual elements summoners.

There are total 5 dual elements summoners available to use. We could draw the relations between those summoners as per image below.

This diagram shows that each Summoners are related to each other in circullar manners. Fire Splinter will always pair with Earth Splinter (through Brewmaster Abraxas) or Death Splinter (through Dolfar Darflak). And with it, each splinters will be locked out from pairing with the remaining 2 (two) splinters. In this case Fire Splinter had no chances to pair with Water Splinter or Life Splinter. So knowing these combination we could expect the type of combined collection we could utilize for certain Splinters. But before that we should get to know the current market price of each summoners cards, since this is the basic measure to understand the players preference.

Currently Prunda Undervesch has topped the tier on both regular and gold foil. The bottom tier will be Brewmaster Abraxas and Zeddica for gold foil. Regular foil doesn't show significant price difference and could be ignored for now. But gold foil show a huge gap between Prunda and Abraxas. So we should take attention of how Life Splinter and Water Splinter could synergize together.

Fire Splinter has been potrayed as the powerhouse for melee cards. The number of melee cards decorated with various target altering (Sneak and Opportunity) has allowed Fire Splinter to strike with enormous powers. On the other hand Earth Splinter had paint an image of a spellcaster collection, heavily populated with various magic cards possessing useful abilities.

But this isn't entirely true with the release of Rebellion editions. Earth Splinter has been augmented so much tough and high mana melee cards. Cards such as Lioceros, Endless Ape, and Mycelic Infantry; could pose to be a contender Tanker. And then the double Protect coming from Ferox Defender and Queen Mycelia could solidify their defence. All while both cards also have decent damage value which allows them contributed to damage dealt.

Earth Splinter also own 2 (two) cards posessing the new Lookout ability. This ability is very important to dampen incoming damage from Snipe, Opportunity, and Sneak. And both card will be important to dealt against harsh melee Striker.

With all these combinations, it seemed Fire Splinter and Earth Splinter could team up to create the most expansive melee collection. But this seemed to be the reason why Brewmaster Abraxas are less popular in the market. The sole focus on melee splinter has caused these combination to be less anticipative against other formation combination.
