# Splinterlands : Art Contest Week 166 Entry - Santa Claus ( ALRIC Version)

Hello #hivers.

Christmas holiday season is fast approaching and Alric couldn't wait to deliver the gifts he minted for hundreds of years. He is excited to visit his pupils from all around the #Splinterlands. He is a water summoner and mostly known as Arlic Stormbringer.

He decided to dress up Santa Claus to bring joy and give some smile not just for his pupils but also for the people they loved.

He has a lot of time lately because he doesn't teach beginners anymore ( the job was taken over by KELYA FRENDUL).

I bet all the monsters will be happy once they see their master.

Alric Santa Claus the making

Software used : Adobe Illustrator

Started with face, eyes and hair then the clothing. I decided to change the magical wand of Alric to a candy cane to match the Christmas theme. Since he is a water summoner, I assumed that he love to travel by water. I didn't include any reindeer substitute because he doesn't need one. He is using magic to order the waves.

This is awesome, great job on the art. You know Alric is a weathered old man and is very mean to a lot of people of the splinterlands but deep down I think he wants to do this secretly.
