My SPS Staking Rewards (SPS & VOUCHER) will buy me 12 Assorted Splinterlands Cards

Today, I logged in my splinterlands game and decided to see how my SPS wallet is doing. My focus has been shifted to GLX in the past few weeks, but not forgetting that I need to buy and stake some more SPS. It was good to see that my 200 SPS staked has yielded about 6.784 SPS and 0.55 VOUCHER as rewards. That's a big one for me.

I claimed the reward and was thinking of what to do with them. I decided to reinvest and compound my investment in the splinterlands gaming ecosystem. My mind settled for converting the SPS and VOUCHER to DEC so I can buy cards.

But how many cards can I buy with the 300 DEC. I went on to the Splinterlands market to see how many cards 300 DEC could buy. Amazing, lots and lots of fine cards I've been using for my battles were found at very discounting prices.

While I am awaiting a big budge to buy splinterlands card packs, I'll keep growing my card decks with market buys in small ways till the big goal is achieved.

Above are the sort of cards at the range of $0.01 to $0.02 that I wish to purchase. We all know we are in the bear market and everything is cheap. I believe that in the future when bull comes, those cards would start gaining value besides their use in my battles.

Any novice that is playing splinterlands game and using an earth summoner would know VENARI KNIFER. The only monster unit at that level that has the thorn ability among the free to play cards available for new players.

Each time you attack VENARI KNIFER with melee element, it destroys the enemy monster back with a thorn before its turn of attack.

I am happy to have VENARI KNIFER now in my deck as an owned card. You can see it marked in the screenshot of my deck below. There are many plans for my splinterlands engagement in 2023. One of such is participating in tournaments and it requires owned cards to do so. This is why I am stacking my deck gradually.
