Splinterlands Art Contest Week 233: THUYUL

Hello dear Hiveans and Splinterlands-gamers...

It's been a while since I last made a drawing for the splinterlands community.
Today I finally completed one "monster" inspired by an indonesian folklore character.
I don't know if the splinterlands-team would be interested to make a character out of this, neverthless I still want to introduce our little "Thuyul" to international audience :-D.
Who knows if one day an indonesian "ghost" could gain fame internationally too, LOL.

According to indonesian belief "thuyul monster" was born from the spirit of unhappy dead babies or aborted ones, therefore it takes an appearance of a hairless little toddler. Thuyul monsters are probably longing for parental love so that they agree to be a pet of greedy and lazy human who want to be rich without putting any decent effort.

The human and the thuyul would make a death contract which is known as "pesugihan" in indonesian and javanese language.
The contract stated that thuyul should be treated lovingly as if it's the owner's own baby and regularly prepare some offering in a secret chamber.
As a reward for raising it, thuyul would steal money from others from time to time to accumulate wealth for the owner.
There is certainly some price to pay for making a deal with a devil and it's said that one must sacrifice one of the baby carried by the owner's wife.
The owner could either let his wife to be pregnant and then having a miscarriage or probably raise a mistress outside for that purpose.
That's really cruel, but well... that's what you got from making a deal with a devil ( if you believe in mythology :-D ).

So... that's the folklore, and now you can enjoy the image of a "Thuyul" here:

To prove that this drawing is an original product created by me, I would also present the few previous images before the end product is completed.
The drawing is made using Autodesk Sketchbook on a Samsung Galaxy 22 Ultra.
