Hola Hivers, esta vez escogí a Chaos Knight una unidad de vida común. Esta es una carta que estaba pensando hacer desde hace unas semanas y por fin me decidí hacerla, ya que quería practicar hacer armaduras, además de seguir probando las nuevas herramientas de clipstudio.
Hi Hivers, this time I chose Chaos Knight a common life unit. This is a card I've been thinking about making for a few weeks and I finally decided to do it, as I wanted to practice making armor, as well as continue testing the new clipstudio tools.
Comencé usando el modelo 3d de clisptudio y ajustarlo a la pose que quería, además de usar el modelo de la cabeza para tener una base del rostro también, Quería que tuviera una pose defensiva y resistencia, ya con el modelo en la pose y composición que quería comencé el proceso de realizar el boceto de la armadura, escudo y hacha además del cabello y los detalles de rostro.
I started using the 3d model from clisptudio and adjust it to the pose I wanted, besides using the model of the head to have a base of the face too, I wanted it to have a defensive pose and resistance, with the model in the pose and composition I wanted I started the process of making the sketch of the armor, shield and axe besides the hair and face details.
Después de esto comencé el proceso de pintado en escalas de grises, asignando los valores bases de todos los elementos. Para luego ir puliendo los detalles pre coloreado, me tome el tiempo de separar estos elementos en diferentes capas para facilitarme un poco el trabajo.
an the process of painting in grayscale, assigning the base values of all the elements. To polish the pre-colored details, I took the time to separate these elements in different layers to make the work a little easier.
Ya teniendo la ilustración casi pulida decidí empezar a colorear con las respectivas capas de mapa de degradado y capas en modo color, al tener cada capa aislada se me hizo más fácil y solo tenía que ajustar los tonos a lo que quería, Ya conforme con los tonos del personaje principal pase a colorear y darle más detalles al fondo quería hacer como que una llamarada era detenida por el escudo, así que use muchos tonos cálidos y pinceles con textura para lograr ese efecto lo mejor posible.
Ya para finalizar ajuste las sombras y agregue algunas luces extras y además de corregir los tonos como siempre más una capa de ruido y de desenfoque de movimiento para finalizar.

Already having the illustration almost polished I decided to start coloring with the respective layers of gradient map and layers in color mode, having each layer isolated made it easier, and I only had to adjust the tones to what I wanted, Once I was satisfied with the tones of the main character I went to color and give more details to the background I wanted to make like a flare was stopped by the shield, so I used many warm tones and textured brushes to achieve that effect as good as possible.
Finally, I adjusted the shadows and added some extra lights and corrected the tones as usual, plus a layer of noise and motion blur to finish.
