Epona | Splinterlands Art Contest Week 250
Hola Hivers, esta ocasión, escogí la carta legendaria de tipo tierra Epona para el concurso de #splinterlands de esta semana.
Hello Hivers, this time, I chose the legendary earth type card Epona for this week's #splinterlands contest.
En esta ocasión quise realizar algo un poco más complejo, usando la ilustración original del personaje como inspiración, realice un boceto algo detallado, Donde se ve al personaje en el centro y a su lado un caballo y un árbol para indicar que está en un campo.
This time I wanted to make something a little more complex, using the original illustration of the character as inspiration, I made a somewhat detailed sketch, Where you see the character in the center and next to her a horse and a tree to indicate that she is in a field.
Use varias imágenes de referencia, sobre todo para el caballo, ya que quería hacerlo lo más real posible. Con el boceto ya listo comencé a agregar los colores base.
Y pase de inmediato a pintar el rostro del personaje principal, además de agregar el fondo con ayuda en un collage de ilustraciones pasadas para hacer el cielo y algunas colinas al fondo.
I used several reference images, especially for the horse, because I wanted to make it as real as possible. With the sketch ready, I started to add the base colors.
I immediately started painting the main character's face, and added the background with the help of a collage of past illustrations to make the sky and some hills in the background.
Seguí detallando el personaje para luego pasar al caballo y el tronco del árbol y por último el pasto y hojas. A esto le agregué algunos efectos de luces y brillos para que se vieran que están debajo de la sombra de un árbol.

I continued detailing the character and then moved on to the horse and the tree trunk and finally the grass and leaves. To this, I added some effects of lights and glows to make them look like they are under the shadow of a tree.
