Ilthain | Splinterlands Art Contest Week 254
Hola Hivers, esta ocasión, escogí la carta épica de tipo vida Ilthain para el concurso de #splinterlands de esta semana. Después de unas semanas sin poder publicar.
Hi Hivers, this time, I chose the epic Ilthain life type card for this week's #splinterlands contest. After a few weeks without being able to post.
En esta ocasión, realice un par de bocetos, ya que el primero no me convencía para el personaje. Así que realice un segundo con una pose que combine muy bien con el personaje.
This time, I made a couple of sketches, since the first one didn't convince me for the character. So I made a second one with a pose that combines very well with the character.
Usando el modelo 3d, como referencia, realice el resto de la ilustración con un boceto más libre y que me daba más control de como se expresa el personaje en su pose.
Para luego pasar a pintar el personaje en varias capas distintas, mantuve el enfoque en el rostro, así que pase la mayoría del tiempo trabajando allí, luego pase a hacer el resto de la ilustración.
Using the 3d model as a reference, I made the rest of the illustration with a freer sketch that gave me more control of how the character expresses himself in his pose.
I then went on to paint the character in several different layers, I kept the focus on the face, so I spent most of the time working there, then went on to do the rest of the illustration.
Use varios pinceles e imágenes con texturas para darle más personalidad al dibujo. Para el fondo mantuve algo simple, pero queriendo mostrar como una tormenta que rodea al personaje, además de agregar rayos con una imagen que coloque en modo pantalla, además de la capa de ruido.
I used several brushes and textured images to give the drawing more personality. For the background I kept something simple, but wanted to show how a storm surrounds the character, plus I added lightning with an image I placed in screen mode, plus the noise layer.
