Hola Hivers, esta semana escogí la carta rara de tipo fuego Tarsa para el concurso de #splinterlands de esta semana. Queria hacer algo diferente con este personaje, y su frase "Tarsa always gets what Tarsa wants". Me enfoqué en hacerla reflejando ese espíritu de rebeldía que me recuerda mucho al rock y metal.

Además, que quería cambiar un poco mi método de ilustrar de las últimas semanas, ya que estaba un poco aburrido de usar el modelo 3d de clipstudio.

Hi Hivers, this week I chose the rare fire type card Tarsa for this week's #splinterlands contest. I wanted to do something different with this character, and her phrase "Tarsa always gets what Tarsa wants". I focused on making it reflecting that rebellious spirit that reminds me a lot of rock and metal.

Also, I wanted to change a little bit my illustration method of the last weeks, since I was a little bit bored with using the clipstudio 3d model.

Como mencione, quise cambiar un poco el diseño original y hacerla más aesthetic y rockera que va muy bien con su elemento y personalidad, pero conservando algo del personaje original, imagínense como una versión más adulta y rebelde.

Mi proceso como mencione vario un poco seguí usando el modelo 3d, pero desde un enfoque distinto, ya que solo use el modelo para hacer la pose y guiándome con base en eso, realice el resto de la ilustración con un boceto más libre y que me daba más control de como se expresa el personaje en su pose.

As I mentioned, I wanted to change a little bit the original design and make it more aesthetic and rocker that goes very well with her element and personality, but keeping some of the original character, imagine it as a more adult and rebellious version.

My process as I mentioned varied a little bit, I kept using the 3d model, but from a different approach, since I only used the model to make the pose and guided by that, I made the rest of the illustration with a freer sketch and that gave me more control of how the character expresses herself in her pose.

Mi enfoque principal fue la ropa porque quería dale mucho estilo, para la falda use una imagen con el patrón reticulado característico que ajuste al movimiento de esta. Para lo demás pinte y ajuste dependiendo lo quería lograr. Lugo pasé a trabajar en la piel y rostro del personaje, además de hacer un fondo base.

My main focus was the clothes because I wanted to give it a lot of style, for the skirt I used an image with the characteristic reticulated pattern that I adjusted to the movement of the skirt. For the rest, I painted and adjusted depending on what I wanted to achieve. Then I went to work on the skin and face of the character, in addition to making a base background.

Para luego pasar al cabello esto me tomo un tiempo, ya que quería hacerlo que se viera muy suelto y en movimiento y que emulara el fuego. En este punto debo mencionar que desde el principio me llamo mucho la atención que me recordaba a una canción de mi grupo alemán de metal industrial RAMMSTEIN Feuer Frei (qué traducido viene siendo como fuego libre) por eso le di ese fondo como nubes con fuego que me inspire con esa canción. Además, hice una versión con el logo de la banda encima de su overall je, je, je.

Bueno, ya aquí casi terminado, solo quedaba agregarle los filtros de corrección de tono y otros ajustes para armonizar todo.

Then I moved on to the hair, this took me a while, since I wanted to make it look very loose and moving and to emulate the fire. At this point I should mention that from the beginning it reminded me a lot of a song of my German industrial metal band RAMMSTEIN Feuer Frei (which translated is like free fire) so I gave him that background as clouds with fire that inspired me with that song. Also, I made a version with the logo of the band on top of their overall heh, heh, heh.

Well, almost finished, I just had to add the tone correction filters and other adjustments to harmonize everything.

Woooow, es un trabajo realmente increíble, aprecio mucho los detalles de la ropa, cada accesorio le da realce a este dibujo, y qué decir del cabello, es precioso, creo que lograste muy bien ese efecto de fuego que mencionabas.
