Xenith Archer | Splinterlands Art Contest Week 238
Hola Hivers, esta semana escogí la carta rara de tipo neutral Xenith Archer. Me tomé algunas libertades creativas realizando un archero femenino.
Quería realizar un arquero desde hace ya un tiempo, así que aproveche la oportunidad de realizarla para el concurso de #splinterlands de esta semana.
Hello Hivers, this week I chose the rare card of neutral type Xenith Archer. I took some creative liberties by making a female archer.
I've wanted to make an archer for a while now, so I took the opportunity to make it for this week's #splinterlands contest.
Comencé como de costumbre posando el modelo 3d de clipstudio a ángulo y perspectiva que quería. Inicialmente, los brazos iban a estar en una posición diferente, ya que quería que su mano derecha estuviera buscado otra flecha para recargar, pero rápidamente deseche esa idea y decidí que mejor estuviera lista para lanzarla.
Furthermore, I began as usual by posing the 3d clipstudio model at the angle and perspective I wanted. Initially, the arms were going to be in a different position, as I wanted her right hand to be looking for another arrow to reload, but I quickly discarded that idea and decided that she'd better be ready to launch.
Ya terminado el boceto comencé el proceso de pintado en blanco y negro como de costumbre. Cambiando un poco la vestimenta del personaje respecto a diseño original.
Once the sketch was finished, I started the painting process in black and white as usual. Changing a little bit the clothing of the character with respect to the original design.
Seguí puliendo el dibujo hasta que ya estaba conforme tanto con el personaje como el fondo. Comencé el coloreado de este último, como tenía cada sección en una capa diferente se me hizo relativamente fácil colorear cada una de estas, use tonos cálidos para reflejar un atardecer. Ya con el fondo terminado, pase a colorear el personaje. Con el mismo proceso anterior, y ya para culminar, agregué unos pequeños detalles extras más algunas luces y sombras más una capa de ruido.

I continued polishing the drawing until I was satisfied with both the character and the background. I began the coloring of the background, as I had each section in a different layer it was relatively easy to color each of these, I used warm tones to reflect a sunset. Once the background was finished, I colored the character. With the same process as before, and to finish, I added some small extra details plus some lights and shadows plus a noise layer.
