Introduction

Hi everyone! Konaqua-desu! It's finally finished. This lore are 3 short stories of the 3 key points of Kaika Hanabi, the Tenyii Slasher.

I may not be a story writer but I did my best and I hope you all have fun reading.

Old Man

"I saw it! It was looking at me! A black mask with fangs on the side! It was looking at me from the shadows!" the old man shouted while shivering in fear. His sunken eyes and face deprived of nutrients. The old man was rumored to be dealing and using forbidden substances. This is why no one takes him seriously but there's another reason why they're not believing his words. That mask is from the legends.

The townfolks bursted laughing, "Yes, and he wields a red sword as well," One said.

"No, it was a blue sword with red flames," another added.

The people at the bar started telling their own version of the stories but none took the old man's words.

"Believe me! It was true!" The old man collapsed sitting on the floor recalling the incident. While everyone was in glee, just a glance from the corner of his eyes, an image of a man wearing a robe with black mask with eight teeth on the side.

"That was him!" That was the one I saw!" The old man trembling in fear pointed out the left window in the bar.

It was indeed black with eight fangs. However, it was not a man, it was a cat, a random alley cat.

Everyone once again bursted in laughter.

The old man hurriedly stood up and ran in fear and confusion towards a dark alleyway. In a flash, he was gone.

No one ever saw the old man since that day. The only thing he left was a pack of Byaong, a type of addictive hallucenic drugs, wrapped in cloth on the floor of the alleyway where he was last seen.

Red Herring

"No you are wrong!" said the blacksmith, "Those blades were as blue as the sky. That blade was made from Kurz, a blue crystal encased in ice found in the depths of the mountains of Kurguzd."

"But... But..."

"No more buts. That was my masterpiece so I should know it! End of story!" the blacksmith added, "Now, go away and stop woth your lies!"

However, the young apprentice was telling the truth. It was brimming red as if the blood of countless bodies seeped through its very core and cursed the blade.

People of the city then started talking about a man with black mask wielding the cursed blade at night. Some said it was a woman with crimson red eyes and flaming red hair. No one knows the truth.

Due to a number of different conflicting stories, the said sword was given a name. It was known far and wide as the "Legend of Red Herring."

Blossoming Fireworks

Unlike other Tenyii's, she was sheltered, pampered and protected. She was the clan's treasured future. Kaika Hanabi is the undoubted crowned princess of the Tenyii's.

As sheltered as she was,her skills and talent with the way of the sword is second to none. Contrary to the freezing bite of the icy foothills of Kurguzd, she has a heart burning with passion. Her crimson eyes strikes fear to anyone who dares to take a look.

She has a past only fueled with rage against the mighty Khan and a hope to avenge her brother who shielded her against the heralds that were trying to take her life. Kaika Hanabi managed to stay alive but with the cost of her brother's life along with her right eye.
