I thought I've never find a stronger combo than Waka Spiritblade x Harklaw I actually found an upgraded version of it with Chain Golem. This works with both Modern and Wild format since Chain Golem is from the Untamed Series.

I'm really disappointed that I didn't know about the game when Untamed Series went out. There's a lot of interesting monsters in this series.

A legendary monster that's always maxed out whether you buy or rent it. Whether gold foil or not, this promo monster is always maxed level so you can always make sure that you can unleash the maximum level at any given league.

_Abilities

Waka Spiritblade grants Poison ability to all of your monsters allowing them have a chance to inflict Poisoned effect to opponent they hit.

Monsters in poisoned state takes 2 damage at the start of the round. This damage cannot be reduced but can be removed by death or cleanse.

Chain Golem at level 2 is pretty strong and durable, almost as durable as Harklaw in terms of combined health and armor. One main difference, besides the abilities are the damage. Chain Golem has 3 damage at level 1 and 2 and 4 damage at levels 3 and 4.

_Abilities

At level 1, Shield ability is unlocked. Shield halves all melee and range damage. If the damage the monster would take is 1 before the effect applies, the damage is negated and turns to 0.

At level 2 Void ability is unlocked. Void halves all magic damage. If the damage the monster would take is 1 before the effect applies, the damage is negated and turns to 0.

At level 3 Piercing ability is unlocked. Piercing ability inflicts the excess damage to armor to health. If Chain Golem inflicted 3 damage and opponent has 1 armor, the excess 2 damage will be inflicted to health instead.

At level 4 Stun ability is unlocked. Monsters with stun ability has a chance to inflict Stunned status to opponents they hit. Stunned monsters skip their next turn.

Waka Spiritblade and Chain Golem combo

? 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒐𝒓 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒏𝒐𝒕?

Yes. I actually like this more than Waka Spiritblade and Harklaw combo because it fixes one of the combo's weakness, which is against magic damage. In addition to that, Chain Golem is a neutral monster which means you can use him in other elements such as with Bortus to nullify magic damage or dragon's Camila Sungazer to nullify opponent's melee damage.

Summoner: Waka Spiritblade: Gives Poison ability to all of my monsters which is very fundamental in my strategy.

1. Chain Golem: An upgraded version of Harklaw. Chain Golem both have Shield ability and Void ability. When combined, this monster halves all damage except for poison and when those damage is 1 before the effect applies, it becomes 0 and negated.
2. Queen of Crows: Has Headwinds ability which decreases opponent's range damage by 1 with a minimum of 1. The main purpose of this monster is actually because Life element is unlocked and Life is more range focused and Queen of Crows is to counter General Sloan but it still worked well against Lava Launcher.
3. Silent Sha-Vi: Has Sneak ability that allows him to attack from any position while prioritizing the last positioned monster.
4. Supply Runner: Has Swiftness ability to increase the team's speed by 1. The higher the speed, the higher the chance to hit the opponent, higher chance to avoid attacks and being able to act first every round.
5. Mantoid: Has Snipe ability that allows him to prioritize non-melee targets. Snipe normally bypass the 1st position monsters as most good tanks are melee.
6. Riftwing: Has Flying, Scavenger, and Backfire abilities. Flying increases dodge chance against non-flying monsters. Scavenger increases his maximum health by 1 for every monster that died, friend or foe, during the battle. Backfire deals 2 damage to enemies that attack Riftwing whenever they miss. Putting Riftwing at the backmost allows me to counter Sneak monsters as sneak monsters normally have melee damage which allows them to miss unlike magic damage. High speed, Swiftness from Supply Runner and Flying ability allows me to have Sneak attackers miss and take 2 damage via Backfire ability.

ᗪIᗪ YOᑌᖇ ᔕTᖇᗩTEGY ᗯOᖇKEᗪ?

Yes. As you saw in the last battle highlight, Chain Golem even survived until the end of the battle. Moreover, the RNG god blessed me with good luck in this battle. I got really lucky to be able to apply the poison ability a lot of times on different monsters.

ᗯᕼᗩT ᗯIᒪᒪ YOᑌ TᖇY ᗪIᖴᖴEᖇEᑎTᒪY ᑎE᙭T TIᗰE?

My strategy would probably change depending on the rules of the current combat. If there's no Lost Magic rule of combat, I would've added Magi Necrosi instead of Mantoid for more effective damage.

Also, I recently noticed that high level of Death Elemental gives me Silence ability reducing opponent's magic damage. I've recently added this to my build for if opponents use more magic damage.
