I missed this summoner so I decided to dig on my previous matches and found a very fitting one.

Scattershot tends to be very weak on its own but when partnered with Magic damage, it can become strong as it bypass the Protect abilities and the likes that increases the survivability of support monsters.

The earlier you can take care of the support monsters, the higher the chance you would win and this is what happened in this battle.

Lorna Shine is a rare summoner . from Untamed Series.

Level 4 rare summoners allow the use of:
Level 2 Legendary monsters;
Level 3 Epic monsters;
Level 4 Rare monsters;
Level 5 Common monsters.

Lorna Shine looks weak at first impression since her ability only takes one instance of damage. However, it goes on top of armor so if you have a monster with 1 health, 1 armor and Divine Shield, that would take 3 attacks for that monster to die from range and melee and 2 attacks from magic damage. This may buy you enough time to take down opponent's key targets before it reach your back line.

Divine Shield. Gives Divine Shield to all friendly monsters. This negates one instance of damage.

Divine Shield can be both strong and weak at the same time. Whether your monsters with Divine Shield was attacked with 1 damage or 10 damage, this will become 0 for that one time. Divine Shield can be activated again if the monster gets revived from death.

Decent damage but low health. This is okay since her abilities are the reasons for choosing to use this monster. Both the Repair and Resurrect are super powerful if used correctly.

Abilities

---

At level 1, Flying is unlocked. Flying increases the chance the opponent's melee and range attack would miss by 25%.

Flying ability is good when placed at the last position as most of the monsters with Sneak abilities are melee.

At level 2, Resurrect is unlocked. Revives the first friendly monster that dies with 1 health.

Resurrect ability is good when combined with other abilities that activate on death and at the start of the battle. An example of an on-death ability is Martyr and the ones that activates at the start of the battle are usually summoner abilities.

At level 3, Immunity is unlocked. Monsters with Immunity cannot get any negative status.

Usually, this is a strong ability when used in Noxious Fumes rule of combat as this monster won't get poisoned. Other than that, it isn't as strong as it sounds.

At level 4, Swiftness is unlocked. Increase the team's speed by 1.

Increased speed means the earlier this monster can attack. At the same time, if this monster has higher speed than the attacker, then, the opponent's monsters can also miss more.

Lorna Shine: She's a really strong summoner. Not only she has a low mana cost but her ability, Divine Shield, can also be activated once more after resurrecting an opponent.

1. Chaos Knight: High damage and resilience due to Shield ability. Her low initial stats are also improved throughout the game through Venari Marksrat's Martyr ability.
2. Venari Marksrat: Due to the way he's positioned and the Explosive Weaponry rule of combat, his chance of dying is 100% activating his Martyr ability to increase the other two monster's stats.
3. Adelade Brightwing: She is one of the main damage of this build. Her Resurrect ability complements with Venari Marksrat being able to revive him to activate the Martyr the second time. Her Repair ability is also useful in increasing Chaos Knight's survivability.

ᗪIᗪ YOᑌᖇ ᔕTᖇᗩTEGY ᗯOᖇKEᗪ?

Yes. The double Martyr was quite strong that I was able to 1-2 hit my opponents with both monsters after the second Martyr. Adelade Brightwing is also the linchpin of this strategy making use of both the abilities.

Lorna Shine also contributed a lot in order for the Blast damage to not pass through Adelade Brightwing earlier dampening the few damage I have on the battlefield.

ᗯᕼᗩT ᗯIᒪᒪ YOᑌ TᖇY ᗪIᖴᖴEᖇEᑎTᒪY ᑎE᙭T TIᗰE?

This build is not usable now in Modern Format due to Lorna Shine being an Untamed summoner. However, this is an easy fix since there are Rebellion summoners that are also 3 mana cost like Prunda Undervesch or Chuul Jujinchi.

Adelade Brightwing and Lorna Shine in Aimless Rules of Combat

? 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒐𝒓 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒏𝒐𝒕?

Yes. With the addition of Explosive Weaponry giving all monsters the Blast ability, that only made my monsters stronger.

With Adelade Brightwing being a magic damage type, her attacks passes through armor which meant the armor that Kelya Frendul gives was useless.

Having Scattershot ability also allowed Adelade Brightwing to kill Scavo Hireling immediately. This reduced the round it needed for me to kill the pponent's Diemonshark contributing to my win.
