Endless Resurgence

This battle was surprising and unique. This is the first time I used Elowen Sylphie, a new Earth archon that can call Avian and Mundane Beast monsters from other Elements and give them Charge. All of that is because of Bloodline Dominion. She also have Resurgence and Charge that she can give to up to 2 monsters.
This is a very strong archon in my opinion since Resurgence can act as another monster when it can revive that monster with full health and armor to fight for a second time. The battle you will see is a strong indicator of how strong this archon can be as it was able to win the battle despite the opponent having the field advantage on the modifier.

Lore
The wolf pup was near death when Elowen Sylphie found it. It lay in a hollow beneath a fallen oak, ribs jutting, too weak to growl. She knelt beside it and stroked its matted fur, speaking in a hushed, soothing tone as she reached out with her mind and her heart using a sense for which she had no name.
The pup's hackles lowered. Its breathing slowed. She carried it home to Sylvaras, where she nursed it back to health and released it into the forest.
Word spread of the wild elf girl who spoke to animals and walked among them. Hawks landed on her shoulder. Deer grazed undisturbed as she passed close enough to stroke their flanks. A mountain lion once came to her with a wound on its paw, and it sat docile while she cleaned and wrapped the torn flesh.

Stats
Elowen Sylphie is a good archon. I think Earth is good for her because of Endless Ape. This monster has Scavenger which gives him extra health when a monster dies. With two Resurgence charges, that's like adding two extra monsters for Endless Ape.
I haven't tried yet but I am curious about the interaction between Endless Ape's Scavenger and Resurgence. I wonder if the Scavenger stacks would be kept when it dies or it would reset.

This gives her access to Avian and Mundane Beasts. Mundane Beast Bloodlines give you access to Giant Alpine Skink and Archer Koi which are good against melee teams. For Avians, I don't see good units except for Nessa and Sira. Both are not melee monsters though so they won't get Charge and both are only good if they have high levels.

Charge is a decent ability as it gives access to melee monsters. With this ability, they can attack even from the back. This only works on Mundane Beast and Avians though so the options are a bit limited. Charge also only works on melee monsters but range monsters and monsters with magic attack can already attack from the rear so they won't need this either way.
Charge has a good synergy with the other ability, Trample, that you can also give to some of your selected monsters.

You can give this to up to 2 units on the board. With Trample from the Summoner Tactics and Charge from Bloodline Dominion, I feel like Elowen Sylphie is leaning more towards melee monsters. You don't need to put it on melee monsters but it can be good depending on the modifier.
Resurgence also has a second effect where it can damage everyone when the monster dies. Normally, this is a bad thing because it affects your monsters as well but think about this. With two Resurgence on the board, that means everyone except those two monsters you have gets -2 health. That is an immense advantage that can make you win especially when your opponents are using low leveled monsters as well.
Lastly, Resurgence can make monsters that has an ability that activates on death stronger. If your monster has abilities like Redemption or Bloodline Tribute, that means they can use those again after revival. Other monsters like those with abilities Scavenger that can activate when someone dies can also benefit from this which gives you a strong combo.

Battle
In this battle, I gave the Resurgence and Trample on Torrent Sniper and Ulundin Overseer even though Trample doesn't have any effect on these two. Ulundin Overseer has high health and armor which is good since Resurgence revives him at full health and armor giving you a second tank. For Torrent Sniper, since the opponents have Snipe due to Target Practice modifier, I have to add it to him to protect my Satha Toledo from the Snipe monsters.
Giant Alpine Skink has Shield that is good against possible melee Sneak attacks. Giant Alpine Skink can still attack from behind because of Charge. The only challenge I had when making this lineup is it was confusing to make. Not all Mundane Beast Bloodline are strong and useful so I had to choose the ones that matters the most. Similar problem with Avians. At the end though, I think this team was pretty strong and it is evident from me winning a battle despite the opponent having a clear advantage over the Target Practice Modifier.

I really like Elowen Sylphid and my first impression was really good. I can think of a lot of combos that I can use with this archon. I hope there are better Mundane Beast and Avian though but even now, I can think of a lot of combos with Resurgence.
Only time can tell whether I am overhyping this archon or this one is really as overpowered as it is like in my first game.
