Brawl Report #104, Social Media Challenge, Another Break on this one

It has been a little while for me, vacations will do that to you! Over a week in the woods (check out the Actifit posts) took me away from doing these posts for a little bit. There are some changes that came down the pipeline for Splinterlands, no more battle helpers and bots in brawls and tourneys, that makes things interesting. Personally, I kind of like bots in brawls, I mean, the bots didn’t use gladiator cards, so you throw in a gladiator or two, almost always would win, so that was very nice for those easy wins!

So, let’s start by looking at SPS which is currently trending at $0.014, dipping a little bit, hopefully it will start an upward climb! I decided to mix things up a little bit, the guild was still only filling 9 out of 18 fights, only filling half does not cut it for large gains. I am rocking Gold Modern format time around with 7 fights to my name.

Battle #1 (Link)
We start in the enemy arena, looking at stampede, opportunity, fog of war and 23 mana, interesting. Going with earth on this one, don’t know how well it will work out for me though. They went earth as well, with a summoner 3 levels higher, yeah, this looks bad for me. Yeah, no chance for a win on this one.

Battle #2 (Link)
Staying in the enemy arena with 51 mana, extra shields, fury, and super sneak, I think I am going fire on this one. Hoping that the double bloodlust along with the blast helps me out. They went earth for that extra boost in health and close range. Tatiana is just a straight OP card in this case.

Battle #3 (Link)
Now, finally, I am in the home arena with 45 mana, cripple, no shield, and evens only. Going water, only with extra health and double gladiator on this one. They went neutral to get a boost to everything, so this does not look good for me either… just too outclassed again on this one.

Battle #4 (Link)
Staying in the home arena looking at 38 mana, equalizer, no shield again, and thorns. Going death with a lot of extra bump to magic, hopefully it will pay off. They went dragon to slow me down and take away some ranged damage, luckily, I didn’t use any ranged damage. Wow, they had a great strategy, martyr along with double resurrect, yeah, that was painful for me!

Battle #5 (Link)
Back on the road with some pizza rolls in my pocket! Looking at melee striking from anywhere, extra armor, and poison. Going with water on this one, hoping that the magic and dispel helps me out. They went light, just countering my thought process… yeah I am going to say I lost this one before I even begin.

Battle #6 (Link)
Staying on the road, because it has worked out so well for me… 45 mana, melee from anywhere, stampede and poison again. Going for fire on this one, with the help of immunity to soften the blow? They went with water and reach, not going to work well for me either. The force field up front, means that my guys could not do damage to the front, so it killed me.

Battle #7 (Link)
Last one, in the home arena, with poison, no melee, and little league. Going death, but I do not have high hopes for this win. They went death as well, very similar lineup, that Dr. Blight in the back will kill me. Yup, blight just took me out quickly.

Well, 12 in a half hours to go and I am sitting at 0 and 4, this one sucks for me. The guild itself is in 8th place, not good for that one either!

I ended up 0 and 7, which sucks really bad! The guild ended in 8th place, not a great showing.

Due to the merits from this brawl, I picked up a gladius pack, Captain Katie is nice!
