Share Your Battle, Weekly Challenge, Beetle at the Back of the Crypt!

This is my second Sharing of a battle, this time around, Death, the opposite of the life I did last time!
Starting off, Death is a great counter splinter, you cannot say that about the other splinters, if you can get the cards right, it knocks out every advantage that the other splinters have, such as what happened with this weeks battle!

The Crypt Beetle Hangs around in the Back:

The Crypto Beetle is nice in the beginning with only costing 3 mana, but it has the Shield ability, which means that it takes less damage for melee and ranged attacks, or as you can see in this battle, 0 damage when paired with other cards!

I used the Crypt Beetle’s shield ability to help the back line of the sneak, the Ruleset had 40 mana plus:
Super Sneak: All Melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability.
Everyone is sneaky, so you need to protect your back line on this one

First up, the Summoner:

Brood is a great counter summoner, taking away 1 health and 1 magic, helps a lot right there. I also chose Thaddius because it is a death challenge, and it is the only Death summoner I have over level 1. Since the choices were only Fire, Death, and Dragon, I thought Death was the best choice for my cards

The front line was the Cursed Windeku:

As is standard in most death lineups nowadays, the Cursed Windeku up front, high health along with thorns, it makes it painful for many people trying to get through!

Next up, the Disintegrator:

When I use Death I usually use an alt tank, mostly because the Windeku has a tendency to die quickly, so I put in the Disintegrator as this backup tank, but it is the Demoralize ability that I am really after, it reduces the melee attack of all enemy monsters, which when paired with the Crypt Beetles Shield, makes it hard for them to do damage.

I do like the Silent Sha-vi, it is just a great card to attack the backline with sneak, but at level 3, 3 melee damage, just a solid addition!

The snipe ability and the speed, along with magic damage is always a great addition to most decks, I use it to wear down the opponent.

Next up is a great card to pair with Thaddius, Lira The Dark, her speed and opportunity attack can take out a lot of people, but with Thaddius, the 3 health become 2, which makes for very quick kills!

Lastly, I round this one out with the Crypt Beetle

The Crypt Beetle at the end to mitigate those pesky 2 attack melee individuals when paired with the Disintigrator, they do 0 damage.

Did my strategy work, yes it did work out this time, I took away two of their melee attackers, because they could not do any damage to me, so a solid addition to the deck when paired with other abilities.

I do like to use the Crypt Beetle in low mana fights usually, or in fights with the Equalizer ruleset, where the hit points of the Crypt Beetle get boosted, those are the downsides to the Crypt Beetle, the low health.
