Share Your Battle, Weekly Challenge, Must Summon More PIZZA!!!

This will be my fourth share your battle, and when I looked at the scrapper, it just looks like someone determined to summon something, so why not Pizza?

Starting off, my Light Splinter goes heavy with ranged attacks, however, once you hit level 3 with the Scrapper, the void ability, has saved me many times, not letting that extra magic hit, is a good thing, not to mention, the 1 mana cost.
Enter the Gargoya Scrapper:

The Mana cost is huge, so easy to fit the Scrapper into so many fights, at level 3, the void comes in, along with 2 hit points, a great combo, I suggest picking up the gold version as well for extra points and DEC on wins!

The battle that we are examining for this one is a low mana cap at 13 mana, plus:
Back to Basics: Monsters lose all abilities.
Equalizer: The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health

This battle is a little different, I did not use a ranked battle like I have in the past, I used another awesome feature of Splinterlands, the Tournaments! They are a great way to add to your collection with wins and trying out different ways to do things, this one was Silver league, with all editions of cards allowed.

Here is the quick link to the battle: (Link) however, I will break it down, then you might want to watch again.

First up, the Summoner:

Since this was a basics, no monster abilities were able to be used, so I went with Sloan due to adding the ranged damage, figuring the additional damage can help break through the enemy defenses.

The front line was the Gargoya Scrapper, even though the void ability was not on the scrapper, at 1 mana it would have at least 4 hit points due to the Equalizer rule. What the enemy chose, the scrapper ended up having 11 hit points, it takes a lot to get through that!

Following that up was a legendary card, the Soul Fiend, which is a 0 mana card, something that is great to have in the low mana fights, it worked out well for me here because it was another monster to make it through.

Next up comes an awesome card from the Chaos Legion set with the Light Splinter:

She is quick with the 5 speed, but also the magic damage, so it would bypass any armor that the enemy might have, I put her in the 3rd spot here due to the magic, it is ranged, but it can also be used in the first spot, unlike ranged attacks.

Next came the Herbalist card, low mana cost at 2, and only 1 ranged attack, however, paring it with Sloan gets me 2 ranged attack.

Lastly, I had the Xenith Archer, similar to the Herbalist, 1 ranged, 1 speed, but 2 mana, again looking to increase that damage output.

Did my strategy work, yes it did, the enemy went water hoping the armor and the speed would help them win. They had Oshannus in the back to do the magic damage, but it ate up almost all of the mana for the fight, so they had a 0 and a 1 mana monster in front of that. The max damage output that they could have would be 3 damage a turn, meanwhile, I was putting out 6 damage a turn. Not to mention, they did have armor, but only 33 hit points, whereas I was running 55 hit points, by the time they were getting me down in hits I was already knocking them out. Oshannus with the 6 speed did make me miss 3 times, but when numbers are on your side, it really helps.

The Gargoya Scrapper is a great card to have for the light deck, it really shines in low mana fights. I suggest picking it up in Gold so that it adds more Focus and Season points, which means more chests, which means more rewards, which is all about climbing the ranks!

Overall, this was a really good battle for me, and when you are watching a battle, you always need some Pizza! If you are looking for a great area of Positivity along with a great community, com join the Pizza Family!
