Since I have been looking at cards a little bit more, the lore really pops, and this one, is the image, so let’s look at one that I used, the Antoid Platoon:

The Lore behind the Antoid Platoon by Splinterlands:
An Antoid Platoon typically consists of five to seven Fire Ants, each approximately the size of a man's fist. They are well armored and wield shields and spears that, while tiny, provide a formidable defense and offense against the antoid's foes. Operating through a shared hive mind, the Antoid Platoon is employed to defend Ant Miners, other workers, the colony, and its queen. They are also known to become aggressive when invaders encroach upon their homes and surrounding territory.

The Weirding Warrior tried to bring his foot down on the Ant Miner, but the vile little insect skittered away and disappeared down a hole in the soft silt of the forest's floor.

The Weirding Warrior rubbed his calf where it had struck him with its pickaxe, limped over to the hole, and peered inside.

“Come on out little fella,” he hissed. “I won't bite.”

A rustle of shifting dirt, and an Antoid Platoon consisting of five red ants wearing armor and wielding shields and spears poured out of the hole and skittered toward him.

The Weirding Warrior snorted and raised his boot. “Am I supposed to be impressed?”

The rustling grew louder. He paused and cocked his head. Suddenly, a flood of fire ants poured from the hole and surged toward him.

Eyes wide, he gasped and turned to flee. Tiny pinpricks tore into his lower legs. He stumbled and fell.

And the Antoid Platoons swarmed over him.

We only filled 13 out of 16, we are still missing out on this one. I am in the Bronze league with only Chaos Legion cards, with 7 battles to my name.

Battle #1 (Link)
Beginning the fight in the home arena, so that means I need to chat with @theacks about the strategy we have going forward. The battle is 14 mana, super sneak and close range. I decided to try something different, I went with Trapp in the death splinter, I have not used this gladiator yet. They went fire for that extra damage boost. 1 miss made me lose this one.

Battle #2 (Link)
Staying in the home arena, hopefully I will fair better in this fight. Looking at 36 mana, enrage, melee only, and death and earth only. So I went Earth, using some Quora love on this one. They went earth as well, with the newer summoner, but they brought out quora as well. My grund upfront helped me win this one!

Battle #3(Link)
Now I am leaving the home arena to travel on the road. The first one is 27 mana, extra armor, and no healing. I went light on this one, hoping that captain katie can help me out. They went earth, that magic is not going to be fun to deal with, or the double opportunity, just bad choices for me on this one, however, I did get a shot of the other team putting on extra armor!

Battle #4 (Link)
Still on the road for this one, with 54 mana, small fry, and true strike. Not super happy with this one, but I am going light on it, with the Monk up front and Sola to heal, I am hoping that the double heals can get me though it. They went earth, with a lot of heals, but all that damage is going to be hard to get through. I needed just a few more hit points on this one.

Battle #5 (Link)
At this point I am not looking too hot, 1 and 3, horrible way to start off, let’s hope the last part of this is more in my favor! Looking at 22 mana, no healing and cripple for this next fight in the home arena. I’m going earth with the double double, double strike in the front and double strike in the back. They went water, that speed might hurt me. The misses are literally killing me this brawl!

Battle #6 (Link)
Last fight in the home arena, Magic reflect, and return fire, along with 54 mana. I’m pulling in the heavies on this one going fire with double bloodlust. They went water, the speed just killed me.

Battle #7 (Link)
This sucks, I am currently sitting at 1 and 5 due to misses, RNG hates me today, I lost at 4 of those due to misses. Hopefully I won’t miss on this last one that looks at 24 mana, return fire and divine shield. I’m going water on this one, hopefully that extra speed will help me win. They went death on this one, the thorns will kill me on this one. I actually won!

Well, I was hoping for a better outcome on this one, 2 and 5, just horrible, too many misses. The guild is currently sitting in 1st place, by a very slim margin, I will keep my fingers crossed!

I still ended up 2 and 5, didn’t change, the guild ended up in 2nd place, not a bad showing, it was very tight at the top, if we had a couple more people we might have been able to take it!
