Social Media Challenge, Brawl Report #74, Shoveling, Sucking the Joy out of Winter!

The image this week is all about the vampires, so let’s keep that theme going, snow, sucking the joy out of getting up in the morning and having to shovel!

As I post this SPS is currently trending at $0.025, it has taken a dip down, hopefully it will bounce back soon! Additionally, there are 596,702 packs to go until the next legendary summoner, they are dropping quickly due to the burn, get yours before they sell out!

Since I have been looking at cards a little bit more, the lore really pops, and this one, is the image, so let’s look at one that I used, and use a lot, the Drybone Raider!

The Lore behind the Drybone Raider by Splinterlands:
The Drybone Raiders are part of a tribalistic and fractious collective of anarchists led by the llamataur warlord, Eternan Brune. They control the Drybone Badlands in the Wild Northeast of Praetoria and often conduct predatory incursions into neighboring lands, attacking settlements for loot, plunder, and fun.

Drybone Raiders generally armor themselves in primitive furs and leathers, wield all manner of swords and spears, and sometimes ride large, beast-drawn war machines into combat. They are known to create warpaint from dyes and the bones of their enemies. While undisciplined and disorderly, they are feared throughout the Drybone Badlands and its outlying areas for their ferociousness and tenacity.

We only filled 14 out of 16, we are still missing out on this one. I am in the Silver league with only Chaos Legion cards, with 7 battles to my name.

Battle #1 (Link)
This one starts on the road with 25 mana, and that is all, that is odd, used to more rules, on this one I am going water for some opportunity love. They went light on this one, hopefully this will work in my favor. Even with some misses this one worked out well for me!

Battle #2 (Link)
Always good when you start out with a win! This one is still on the road looking at melee only and 33 mana. Going with a small squad on this one, I don’t know how will it will work for me, but fire with heavy hitters. They went water, that speed is going to hurt. The multiple misses did not help me on this one.

Battle #3 (Link)
Third one is a charm, let’s see how this home bout treats me with 17 mana, scatter shot, extra armor and evens only, making up for that lack of ruleset earlier. Going water on this one with Alva and oshannus, hopefully it will be enough! They went water as well, only a higher level and a lot more people coming at me. Dr. Blight is what killed me this time, poison, it just hurts.

Battle #4 (Link)
The brawl started off bright, and then just went downhill from there, back on the road with 36 mana, fury, close range, and slow. I’m trying fire again, but who knows how it will go this time. They went water, at least the speed on this one should help me with those misses. That reverse speed really did help me out on this one!

Battle #5 (Link)
Well back to 50/50, at least that is decent as I enter the home arena again, this time it is 30 mana, no neutral, knockout, water and death only. Going death on this one, using a stun card that I hope will work out well for me. They went water, that speed might not be a good thing for me, along with the double opportunity, not a good thing. Yeah, it was not a good thing.

Battle #6 (Link)
Back under fifty percent, I need to pull out wins on these last two. First one away, no healing, return fire, and small fry. I’m going with death on this one, hoping that I can take them down quickly with the reduction in hit points. They went death as well, but with cripple instead of reducing my hit points. However, I came out ahead on this one!

Battle #7 (Link)
Last one, in the home arena, this will tell me if I am above or below fifty for this brawl, no pressure… 52 mana, basic, magic reflect, oh and blast just for the fun times… I went death on this one, hoping to knock them down, they went fire, but with that extra speed and the scatter shot, this does not look good for me. Luckily, I survived the barrage from them and came out on top!

I ended up 4 and 3, respectable, so not in bad shape with that one, the guild is in second place, but with roughly 250 fights to go, anyone’s game still.

I still ended up 4 and 3, didn’t change, the guild ended up in 3rd place, not a bad showing, it was very tight at the top, so a good showing!

Due to those merits, along with winnings from chests, I was able to pick up 2 gladius packs, 4 rares, but they really want me to work on Ajax!
