please keep in mind that there will only be a relatively small number of validators that receive the lion's share of the votes, so this 375k SPS / month will be split among a small group of accounts
To get 1/2000th of the rewards, you need to have 1/2000th of the staked SPS voting for you, which implies you either own it (about 20k USD worth of SPS), or have alot of influence and have people voting for you.

The validator license nodes are a separate reward pool than the top DPOS validators. Per the article "In order to try to address that issue we will be offering "licenses" which will allow anyone to earn rewards for running a node without needing to have any staked SPS votes."
The DPOS reward pool monthly is 375,000 SPS whereas the validator node license pool is 3,375,000 SPS monthly which is the reward pool this video uses for its calculations.
