A Newbie Learning on the Fly in Splinterlands

Who wants to watch a newbie get trashed playing Splinterlands? Maybe no one, but I decided to mic up and record a few games. You can watch amazing things like:

  1. Watch me lookup abilities live in the wiki because I have no idea what they do!
  2. Have no idea why I was dodging so many attacks only to read about speed later in the vid and figure it out!
  3. Lose some games.
  4. Win some games!

I saw you looking up the rulesets, that is better than I did at the beginning. I just paid attention to the main rulesets and it probably cost me quite a few games, although I wouldnt have known how to take advantage of them back then anyway. What really helped me learn was the weekly battle challenge posts, helping me think about tactics and gameplay more.

You seem to have a few good cards for a bronze deck, I think you will progress fast.

It is a fact that when a person has to learn something, it takes time. One does not start things from the first day.

Hey there! You definitely don't look like a new player to the game with those cards you rented! I remembered when I first started out, I was struggling so hard without really renting much, cause I was a miser 😅

The Llama & Kron combo is definitely a go to strategy in the lower leagues! But damn you just have to meet the Llama & Oaken Behemoth combo 😖
