Even in games, Pixies are a species of fairies. They are mischievous creatures fond of doing tricks to humans. In Splinterlands, this is made to life by having Pixies high speed allowing attacks to be dodged most of the time.

Lore

The temperature of Azmaré’s Frozen Hell has been gradually but steadily increasing for the last ten years, since the salt sickness has taken hold there. The Ice Shelf itself is not in any imminent danger of melting, nor is the Palace of the Frost Giant, but new, mischievous creatures of the ice have been emerging from the melted cracks. These Ice Pixies have apparently been frozen for many lifetimes, simply awaiting a warmer season to make their escape. Once free, Ice Pixies play like warp speed children throughout the Splinterlands, making a real mess of the natural world.

Rental Cost

Ice Pixie's rental cost is on the low side. Currently, you can play her for free if you're not planning to play a higher level than 1.

Buy/Sell Cost

Even with a low stat, since the packs Ice Pixie is on are really expensive, purchasing this card is a bit high. The cheapest is around $4 which is also the cost of some Legendary Chaos Legion cards. If you're planning to use a higher level of this card, it's much efficient to rent it instead of buying a higher level one.

Card Stats

Ice Pixie's stats is on the low side and used only before as a filler. The issue right now is there's more better fillers so the use of Ice Pixie went down.

Card Effect

Flying || Has an increased 25% chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.

Shatter || Target's armor is destroyed when hit by an attack from Monsters with Shatter.
Ice Pixie has two abilities, which is Flying and Shatter. Flying is a useful skill as it allows you to dodge and live for longer time especially with a low health. Shatter on the other hand is not so much as you'll most likely play Ice Pixie in a all mage team and magical damage pass through armor so whether your opponent has armor or not, it doesn't matter.

When to use

I only use Ice Pixie either when I have extra mana or if you're doing an all mage water composition. If you're using Ice Pixie as a filler, sneak blocker or both, there's 1 mana cards right now that would do the job better.

When not to use

I don't use Ice Pixie most of the times since they removed Alric Stormbringer as a free summoner. I will use her whenever I am renting Alric Stormbringer though making an all water mana composition. I think water mages is still better overall if you have the cards for it even with the new release of Chaos Legion cards.
