Splinterlands Art Contest 222 - TENYII STRIKER

Hello friends of the hive, it's great to be here sharing a new piece of art which is my submission to the splinterlands art contest. I haven't participated in a few weeks because I've been busy and resting as well. For this round I have chosen to recreate a rare card from the fire unit, THE TENYII STRIKER.

Hola amigos de la colmena, es genial estar aquí compartiendo una nueva pieza de arte que es mi presentación al concurso de arte splinterlands. No he participado en algunas semanas porque he estado ocupado y descansando también. Para esta ronda he elegido recrear una carta rara de la unidad de fuego, THE TENYII STRIKER.

Tenyii Strikers are fierce fighters, hard as iron and move so silently on the mountain glacier. They begin training as soon as they are strong enough to lift the steel.

Los Tenyii Striker son fieros luchadores, duros como el hierro y se mueven silenciosamente por el glaciar de la montaña. Empiezan a entrenarse en cuanto son lo bastante fuertes para levantar el acero.

Process

Proceso

I started with a very clear sketch of what I wanted, my choice was quite simple to execute. I didn't want to think too much, I let myself go and I was very satisfied with the result. I usually keep the colours of the original character, but in this case I just did my thing. I chose a white hair colour that looked great, I also created a totally different outfit, but I still took some colours from the original work.

Empecé con un boceto muy claro de lo que quería, mi elección fue bastante sencilla de ejecutar. No quise pensar demasiado, me dejé llevar y quedé muy satisfecho con el resultado. Normalmente conservo los colores del personaje original, pero en este caso me dejé llevar. Escogí un color de pelo blanco que quedaba muy bien, también creé un atuendo totalmente diferente, pero aún así tomé algunos colores de la obra original.

At some point I thought of adding the extra jacket like in the original but I decided against it, I painted the rope around her waist, her sword and added a sharp red glow around her eyes, face and body. I did a very simple background with one of the brushes I have and I was satisfied with the effect.

En algún momento pensé en añadir la chaqueta extra como en el original pero decidí no hacerlo, pinté la cuerda alrededor de su cintura, su espada y añadí un brillo rojo intenso alrededor de sus ojos, cara y cuerpo. Hice un fondo muy sencillo con uno de los pinceles que tengo y quedé satisfecho con el efecto.
