¿Qué tipo de concursos tenemos y cuáles son las reglas?

Ok, aquí tenemos un cambio bastante grande con respecto a los antiguos concursos, ya que cada uno de ellos es diferente al otro, siempre existe un cambio, por lo que la versatilidad siempre esta presente, esto quiere decir que, no puedes esperarte siempre el mismo. Con esto claro, los últimos 2 concursos publicados, me refiero a sus temas son los siguientes:

• Desafío de la peor tarjeta
• Desafío del combo nuevo mas roto en un formato especifico.
• Concurso de “Crea un Concurso”.

Estos son los últimos 3 que se han publicado y como pueden ver, son muy diferentes, pero, la realidad es que es bastante sencillo de participar, no ahondare en los normas exactas para participar, ya que con ingresar a la cuenta y ver las publicaciones podrás verlo, pero, el constante cambio de los desafíos, incitan a que los usuarios mientras participan puedan aprender, que es lo que queremos a su vez.

Por otro lado, están las reglas, las cuales en las publicaciones de los desafíos no están explicitas, al menos no como antes, sin embargo, cada “Curador” de Splinterlands tiene sus propios criterios, y algunos de ellos los compartimos todos, pero, es importante que sepas que, aunque las reglas en las publicaciones de los nuevos desafíos no estén tan claras, si que las tenemos presentes y para recordártelas tenemos las siguientes:

Normas del Curador (No general cada curador tiene su propio criterio)

• El post tiene que ser original, nada de copiar y pegar u uso de IA al menos que el mismo post diga que está permitido. La idea es ofrecer valor, que compartas tus experiencias en cada uno de los concursos, no algo que sea automático, recordemos que estos post se quedan para siempre en “Hive”, por lo que, su contenido puede servir para nuevos jugadores en el largo plazo.

• No debes tener KE superior a 4, para mi este es el tope de publicaciones que yo suelo votar, para otros puede ser menos que eso. Para el que no sepa que es el KE, es la relación entre el poder total que tienes en tu cuenta (HP), con la cantidad de HP que has retirado de tu cuenta, esto quiero decir que, si has ganado durante todo el tiempo unos 10000 HP y de eso has sacado el 50%, unos 5000 HP, tu KE será superior a 5 sin duda, lo que demuestra el poco compromiso que tienes con tu cuenta.

• Si usas imágenes externas, que son sean del juego en tu post, todas deben de tener su fuente, esto es obligatorio, ya que el “Plagio” no esta permitido, hay que reconocer al autor original de esa imagen en el post.

• Por último, la cantidad de palabras, esto tiene mucho que ver con el valor que se agregue al post, pero, los post cortos que prácticamente no demuestran esfuerzo, no tendrán recompensas.

Consideraciones Finales

Con todo esto, espero que haya quedado todo claro con respecto a los nuevos “Desafíos/Concursos” de Splinterlands. Es muy sencillo participar, de hecho, más fácil que antes, pero, tengan en cuenta todo lo anterior, ademas, sigan la nueva cuenta, compártanla con sus amigos y jugadores para que tengan conocimiento de estos nuevos concursos.

Over the past few months, I’ve been talking about gameplay, rules, and strategies, but there’s one thing I haven’t mentioned this year, and that’s the rewards you can earn by posting content on the “Hive” blockchain, where all you have to do is share something truly interesting and valuable about the game to earn certain rewards for it. However, things have changed in recent months, and you may have noticed that the game’s main account, @splinterlands, hasn’t posted any new challenges in quite some time.

In this post, I’ll explain all the latest updates regarding the challenges, where they’re being posted, how you can participate, and other details you should keep in mind. I’m writing this post specifically because I’ve noticed that users aren’t participating—perhaps because they don’t know where the challenges are currently being posted. That’s why you need to save this post: if you’re feeling lost, want to participate in the challenges posted earlier, are passionate about the content, enjoy teaching others, and want to add value, then you need to check out this post.

This post won't be too long—I'll go over the details, but it's really quite simple. Our goal is to get everyone involved again, so pay close attention. If you're new here, go ahead and join in—don't miss out. With that said, let's get started:

What happened to the old challenges, and where can I find the new ones?

These are questions I imagine everyone is asking, but I’ll explain briefly; the truth is, it’s very simple: there have been changes in the team, and we’re revamping the community challenges. Even so, the objectives of the challenges remain the same—nothing has changed. But for those who weren’t aware, here’s a quick summary:

Objectives

• Adding value to the game: This is one of the main goals, and it has always been a priority. It is achieved through the content created on the “Hive Blockchain” for Splinterlands. This means that if you want to share something, educate others about the game, showcase your strategies, etc., the idea behind creating content boils down to sharing your experience from a perspective that provides value to others.

• Spread the word about Splinterlands: This is another goal we have in mind. Previously, we faced challenges with social media, but things are changing now; however, as creators, we need to ensure that gamers of all kinds—whether they’re Web3 or Web2—learn about “Splinterlands,” basically by sharing our “Hive” content on X, Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit, for example, since this is what will allow us to reach more players, help the game grow, and, consequently, help us grow as part of the ecosystem as well.

• Offer rewards to players: In the end, every effort should be rewarded, so if you create valuable content, you’ll generate revenue. Keep this in mind when creating content about the game, whether you participate in the challenges or not.

If you follow all of this—or, as I mentioned earlier, simply keep it in mind—you’ll be able to help in every way. Remember that providing value will help new users access guides created by the community, so keep in mind that any kind of content helps, as long as it adds value for others.

Where are the new “Challenges” being posted?

Here we’re moving into a more practical phase of this section. Now that we know the objectives and have a new account where the challenges are posted—which are simpler than before, precisely to make it easier to participate—I realize this account hasn’t been officially introduced to the public yet. So, as the official curator of “Splinterlands,” my job is to show you the way so you can get started.

With that in mind, the new account where the latest “Splinterlands” challenges are being posted is @spl-contests. Here you’ll find the community’s new contests, which are very specific and different from those posted years ago, as there is much greater diversity in the tasks required to have a post qualify for the contest, which can earn rewards and various prizes.

What kinds of contests do we have, and what are the rules?

Okay, here’s a pretty big change from the old contests: since each one is different from the others, there’s always something new, so versatility is always a factor. This means you can’t expect the same thing every time. With that in mind, the themes of the last two contests posted are as follows:

• Worst Hand Challenge
• Challenge to create the most broken new deck in a specific format.
• “Create a Contest” Contest.

These are the last three that have been posted, and as you can see, they’re quite different. But the truth is that it’s actually pretty easy to participate. I won’t go into the exact rules for participating, since you can see them just by logging into your account and checking out the posts. However, the constant change in challenges encourages users to learn as they participate—which is exactly what we want.

On the other hand, there are the rules, which aren’t explicitly stated in the challenge posts—at least not as they used to be. However, each Splinterlands “Curator” has their own criteria, and while we all share some of them, it’s important for you to know that even though the rules in the new challenge posts may not be as clear, we do keep them in mind. To remind you of them, here they are:

Guardian Guidelines (Note: These are not universal; each guardian has their own criteria)

• The post must be original; no copying and pasting or use of AI, unless the post itself states that it is permitted. The idea is to provide value by sharing your experiences in each contest—not something generated automatically. Remember that these posts remain on “Hive” forever, so their content can be helpful to new players in the long run.

• Your KE shouldn't be higher than 4; for me, that's the limit on posts I usually vote for, though for others it might be lower than that. For those who don't know what KE is, it's the ratio of the total power you have in your account (HP) to the amount of HP you've withdrawn from your account. What I mean is, if you’ve earned about 10,000 HP over time and withdrawn 50% of that—about 5,000 HP—your KE will undoubtedly be higher than 5, which shows how little commitment you have to your account.

• If you use external images in your post—specifically images from the game—you must include the source for each one. This is mandatory, as “plagiarism” is not permitted; you must credit the original creator of the image in your post.

• Finally, the word count—this has a lot to do with the value added to the post—but short posts that show little to no effort won’t yield any rewards.

Final Thoughts

With all that said, I hope everything is clear regarding the new Splinterlands “Challenges/Contests.” It’s very simple to participate—in fact, easier than before—but please keep all of the above in mind.
