The lineup

Djinn Chwala

Death Elemental

Radiated Scorcher

Ant Miners

Serpentine Spy

Kobold Miner

Uraeus

The strategy

For this battle, there were two rule sets applied, Spreading Fury and Healed Out. It was also low mana with just 15 points. Every splinter but Life was up to grabs. With that low mana and no healing, I thought that Djinn Chwala was a formidable option with a low support, the extra armor of the Dragon summoner would help for an extra hit on that support.

The opponent went with Tarsa, the extra damage would be a disadvantage with the enrage rule set. However, he went with the many low life points route that would play to his disadvantage due to the thorns' ability from Djinn Chwala.

The low support would serve as a decoy for the three cards that have Sneak or Opportunity. That would leave a couple of hits to get through at least the first two, specifically the Ant miners that have the Scavenger ability. If placed on the end of the line, it would be a real threat.

On round one, my fodder was gone, but it served its purpose. And by round two, it was just the last of his cards on play. Fortunately, the Serpentine Spy was not able to hit my Djinn Chwala, even without the enraged, it would have dealt some good damage since the armor was depleted. Thanks to being enraged, I was able to get victorious with just two points of life left, starting the third round.

Djinn Chwala's thorns were the decisive ability of this battle

The thoughts

This time, having a single beefy tank was quite useful. The thorns for low life point cards is superb. However, the enraged for the ones that survive the first hit becomes a threat. Specially if they have armor. Like Uraeus. The magic support I placed helped out to do some damage on the very beginning and to “distract” which worked just fine.
