I became a Splinterlands player in mid-October 2019 and it only took me a few battles to realize that I was looking at a beautiful game with potential.
After discovering Splinterlands I tried other blockchain-based games but none so far have appealed to me as much as Splinterlands.
What differentiates Splinterlands from many other blockchain-based games is that at the base there is a card game that is fun to play and requires a certain grade of skill and strategy.
The battles are what got me passionate about playing Splinterlands, and that's why I've always considered Splinterlands' cards to be the main asset I've been focusing on and will continue to focus on in the future.
December 8 saw the launch of the Chaos Legion collection and many new cards, some very strong, arrived on the battlefields of Splinterlands and revitalized the dynamics of the game by introducing new strategies and new combinations of cards to use in battle.
Since I became a Splinterlands player I've always published a monthly financial report on the Hive blockchain to monitor the financial performance of my Splinterlands investment and today it's time to publish my 25th report.

Final Result Previous Report
The starting point of my financial report on Splinterlands is the result I recorded in my previous monthly report.
The last time I checked the total value of all Splinterlands assets in my possession was on 3 nobembre 2021 and in the following image you can see the results in terms of ROI and Profit that I recorded in my previous report.
I have invested in the game of Splinterlands 524.14$ and in 25 months I have obtained a very exceptional financial result:
- Total Profit: $43728.46
- ROI: 8342.90%
Now I will update the calculation of the value of the assets of Splinterlands in my possession at today's date and I will do it at the same time of writing this post.
Valuation of Splinterlands as an Investment
(25 months later)
Total Investment Cost
Note: In calculating the total cost I only consider the costs that I have incurred by injecting external liquidity into the game.
Since the date of my last report (November 3, 2021) and until today December 18, 2021 I have not injected external liquidity in my investment on Splinterlands and for this reason the total cost remains unchanged from my previous report and is 524.14$.
Revenues
The total revenue obtained from my investment on Splinterlands is the result of the sum of the following values:
- the sum of the market value of the Cards that make up my card collection
- the gain obtained from the sale of the cards and not reinvested in the game.
- the profit obtained by renting my cards to other players and not reinvested in the game.
- the value of DEC (Dark Energy Crystal) tokens accumulated and not reinvested in the purchase of other assets of Splinterlands.
- the gain from the sale of DEC tokens.
- the market value of the PLOT tokens I purchased.
- The gain from the sale of PLOT tokens.
- The gain from using DEC tokens in a Farm.
- The value of the Splintershards (SPS) tokens I have obtained to date from the current airdrop.
- the value of the packs of cards that I have purchased and that I have not opened
- the profit obtained from the sale of VOUCHER tokens
How much is my card collection worth?
As I wrote in the introduction of my report at the base of the game of Splinterlands there is a fun strategy game based on the use of cards (NFT).
Calculating the total value of my card collection is a quick and easy task thanks to the information on the Peakmonsters site (https://peakmonsters.com/).
If you are a new Splinterlands player, you can't do without the Peakmonsters website and its great usefulness ;)
The value of my cards collection is displayed inside the My Cards section of Peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/@libertycrypto27/cards)
The Peakmonsters site calculates the value of Splinterlands card collections based on two different prices: Market Prices and List Prices.
To calculate the value of my card collection I always consider the lesser of:
- the total value using Market Prices.
- the total value using the List Prices.
Since I write a report every month I have been able to monitor the value of my card collection almost monthly.
On September 16, my card collection had a value of $23249.22.
On October 12, my card collection had a value of $25293.08.
On November 3, my card collection had a value of $32166.46.
Today, December 18, 2021, my card collection has a value of $27409.09.
After many months in which my card collection has always increased its value, today I register a decrease in value in a time interval of about 45 days.
In a month and a half the value of my card collection has lost 16.67% in value: -5484.30$.
How much are DEC tokens worth in my wallet?
DEC (Dark Energy Crystal) tokens are the native Tokens of the Splinterlands game, they are the reward for victories in battle and can also be found inside chests.
Players receive forziers as a reward for completing daily quests and as a reward for in-game achievements at the conclusion of the Splinterlands season (every 15 days).
DEC tokens are utility tokens because they have so many use cases:
- they can be sold and bought on:
- Hive Engine (https://hive-engine.com/?p=market&t=DEC)
- LeoDex (https://leodex.io/market/DEC)
- TribalDex (https://tribaldex.com/trade/DEC)
- can be used to buy cards, potions, Spellbook (starter set)
- can be used in DeFi Platforms of CubFinance (https://cubdefi.com/), UniSwap and TribalDex pools (https://tribaldex.com/).
- can be used to pay card rental.
- count towards the current airdrop score to receive Splinterlands governance tokens (the SPS tokens): 1 DEC token = 1 Airdrop point.
In my in-game Splinterlands wallet I have a total amount of 170200 DEC tokens.
Today December 18, 2021 the value of 170200 DEC tokens is $1480.31 (Highest Bid on LeoDex/HiveEngine/TribalDex)
Like my card collection, the DEC tokens have also declined in value over the past 45 days.
In fact, on November 3 I had 135788 DEC tokens worth $1848.71.
Revenues from the sale of DEC tokens on Hive Engine
On October 5, 2020, I sold an amount of 81000 DEC tokens and from the sale I received in return 400.14 HIVE tokens which I used to do Power Up on my beloved Hive.
How much are my PLOT tokens worth?
On November 21, 2020, I purchased 3 PLOTS at a great price: 7500 DEC per plot.
I spent a total of 22500 DEC whose $ value at the time of purchase was $19.66.
When I consider the current value of the DEC tokens the 3 PLOTs cost me 130.43$.
The Plots have all been sold and long ago.
Whoever wants to buy a PLOT token today can still buy it but only from markets outside the Splinterlands game.
Today December 18, 2021 the value of 1 PLOT is:
- 350 SWAP.HIVE = $542.5 (Highest Bid)
- 398 SWAP.HIVE = 616.9$ (Lowest Ask)
A PLOT that could have been purchased at $20 at year-end 2020 today can be purchased at 616.9$!
For the purpose of calculations of the economic result of my report I will consider the value of the best purchase offer (Highest BID) on https://hive-engine.com/?p=market&t=PLOT which is 350 SWAP.HIVE = 542.5$.
The total value of the three PLOT tokens in my possession is: 350 HIVE * 3 plots = 1050 HIVE = 1627.5$ (previous report value: 2114.64$)
Also the value of the 3 plots in my possession has decreased in 45 days of time losing 23.04% of their value.
Farm DEC-USBD LP (V2)
Leofinance (https://leofinance.io/) is one of the most active communities on Hive and has created and developed a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform called CubFinance (https://cubdefi.com/).
On CubFinance I have added liquidity to the DEC-BUSD LP (V2) Farm.
When I added liquidity the APR of the Farm DEC-BUSD LP was over 70% while today it is 5.56% and for this reason in the next days I will remove liquidity from this farm and I will put the DECs in the Diesel Pools of the Hive blockchain that have no transaction costs and have much higher APR.
Using the DEC-BUSD LP farm earned me: 13,242 CUB tokens (Farm V1) + 3.04 CUB tokens (Farm V2)= 16,282 CUB tokens = 16,282 * $0.439 = $7.14.
The value of Splintershards tokens (SPS)
The airdrop of Splintershards (SPS) tokens is underway.
The airdrop of SPS tokens is an annual airdrop and today December 18, 2021 is 145 days since the airdrop began.
As you can see from the data in the image below in 145 days I have accumulated a total of 15937 SPS tokens.
The corresponding dollar value is 4097.05$.
The SPS tokens have also lost value compared to the value they had on November 3, 2021.
In fact, although I increased the amount of SPS tokens in my possession by +4806 units their total value decreased by -36.32%.
Value of card packs purchased but not opened
A while back I bought 110 packs of cards from the Untamed collection from the Shop section of the Splinterlands website.
I opened 90 packs of cards and still have 20 packs of cards left to open.
Today the value of a pack of cards from the Untamed collection on Hive Engine (Highest BID) is 35.5 SWAP.HIVE = $55,025 (previous report value $69.24).
The total value of the 20 packs of Untamed cards in my possession is 1100.5$.
In 45 days the value has decreased by -20.53%.
Value of VOUCHER tokens
The VOUCHER token is a token distributed via airdrop to SPS token stakeholders and was used to purchase 1 pack of Chaos Legion cards during the presale and is still used to purchase a pack of Chaos Legion cards during Phase 2.
During the presale I sold all of the VOUCHER tokens I received: 71.24 VOUCHER tokens.
I got from the sale 1439.23 SWAP.HIVE tokens whose current value is $2230,811.
VOUCHER token distribution stopped on November 16 and restarted on December 8 with the start of phase 2 of the Chaos Legion sale.
From December 8, 2021 until today I received 57.15 VOUCHER tokens that I decided to sell and I got 182,807 SWAP.HIVE tokens = 283.35$.
From the sale of the VOUCHER tokens (presale + phase 2) I made a total profit of $2514.16.
I will use all of the gained profit in the purchase of Chaos Legion card packs during the General Sale.

Now I have all the data I need (costs and revenues) and I can calculate the Profit and ROI that I got from my investment on Splinterlands after 25 months.

As you can see from the calculations in the following image the Profit that I have obtained after 25 months on Splinterlands is 37282.76$ (previous report 44252.60$)

Considerations
From the date of my last report (November 3) to today December 18, all of Splinterlands assets have lost value and therefore the profit and ROI of my investment in Splinterlands has also decreased.
In 45 days my investment has lost 15.75% in value: $6969.84.
But a profit of $37282 is still an excellent result and I continue to be very pleased with my investment.
By the way, all blockchain projects have had a downturn in the last 30 days, so the drop in value I recorded in my report doesn't worry me.
I'm ready to invest and inject new liquidity into the Splinterlands game because I want to buy at least 1000 packs of cards from the new Chaos Legion collection.
I haven't already made the purchase of Chaos Legion cards because for me VOUCHER tokens are currently overvalued and therefore I prefer to sell them instead of using them.
With the approach of the end of phase 2 of sale (January 12), the VOUCHER tokens should still lose value and in that case I could also anticipate the purchase that otherwise I will make on January 13 with the opening of the General Sale.
Are you not a Splinterlands player?
Any game that involves the purchase of cards and tokens is never a simple game but it is also an investment and should be considered as such.
I am not a financial consultant and if you decide to invest in the game of Splinterlands you do it for your own choice, after having made your personal evaluations and considered all possible risk factors.
My advice is to always invest only what you can afford to lose with a light heart.

25 mesi su Splinterlands: ROI e Considerazioni
Sono diventato un giocatore di Splinterlands a metà ottobre del 2019 e mi sono bastate poche battaglie per capire che ero davanti ad un gioco bello e con potenziale.
Dopo aver scoperto Splinterlands ho provato altri giochi giochi basati su blockchain ma nessuno fino ad ora mi è piaciuto quanto Splinterlands.
Ciò che differenzia Splinterlands da molti altri giochi basati su blockchain è che alla base c'è un gioco di carte divertente da giocare e che richiede un certo grado di abilità e strategia.
Sono proprio le battaglie che mi hanno fatto appassionare al gioco di Splinterlands ed è per questo che ho sempre considerato le carte di Splinterlands l'asset principale su cui puntare di più e su cui continuerò a puntare in futuro.
L'8 dicembre c'è stato il lancio della collezione Chaos Legion e tante nuove carte, alcune molto forti sono arrivate sui campi di battaglia di Splinterlands e hanno rivitalizzato le dinamiche del gioco introducendo nuove strategie e nuove combinazioni di carte da utilizzare in battaglia.
Da quando sono diventato un giocatore di Splinterlands ho sempre pubblicato un report finanziario mensile sulla blockchain di Hive per monitore l'andamento finanziario del mio investimento su Splinterlands e oggi è arrivato il momento di pubblicare il mio venticinquesimo report.

Ho investito nel gioco di Splinterlands 524.14$ e in 25 mesi ho ottenuto un risultato finanziario davvero eccezionale:

Nota: Nel calcolo del costo totale considero solo i costi che ho sostenuto immettendo liquidità esterna al gioco.
Dalla data del mio ultimo report (3 novembre 2021) e fino ad oggi 18 dicembre 2021 non ho immesso liquidità esterna nel mio investimento su Splinterlands e per questo motivo il costo totale rimane invariato rispetto al mio report precedente ed è di 524.14$.
I Ricavi
Il totale dei ricavi ottenuti dal mio investimento su Splinterlands è il risultato della somma dei seguenti valori:
- la somma del valore di mercato delle Carte che compongono la mia collezione di carte
- il guadagno ottenuto dalla vendita delle carte e non reinvestito nel gioco.
- il guadagno ottenuto dal nolleggio delle mie carte ad altri giocatori e non reinvestito nel gioco.
- il valore dei token DEC (Dark Energy Crystal) accumulati e non reinvestiti in acquisto di altri assets di Splinterlands.
- il guadagno ottenuto dalla vendita dei token DEC.
- il valore sul mercato dei token PLOT che ho acquistato.
- Il guadagno ottenuto dalla vendita dei token PLOT.
- Il guadagno ottenuto dall'utilizzo dei token DEC in una Farm.

Quanto vale la mia collezione di carte?
Come ho scritto nell'introduzione del mio report alla base del gioco di Splinterlands c'è un divertente gioco di strategia basato sull'utilizzo di carte (NFT).
Ccalcolare il valore totale della mia collezione di carte è un'operazione semplice e veloce grazie alle informazioni presenti all'interno del sito di Peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/).

Il sito di Peakmonsters calcola il valore delle collezioni di carte di Splinterlands in base a due prezzi diversi: Prezzi di mercato e Prezzi di Listino.
Per calcolare il valore della mia collezione di carte considero sempre il valore minore tra:
- il valore totale usando i Prezzi di Mercato.
- il valore totale usando i Prezzi di Listino.
Poichè scrivo ogni mese un report ho potuto monitorare il valore della mia collezione di carte con cadenza quasi mensile.
Il 16 settembre la mia collezione di carte aveva un valore di 23249.22$
Il giorno 12 Ottobre la mia collezione di carte aveva un valore di 25293.08$
Il giorno 3 novembre la mia collezione di carte aveva un valore di 32166.46$
Oggi 18 dicembre 2021 la mia collezione di carte ha un valore di 27409.09$
Dopo tanti mesi in cui la mia collezione di carte ha sempre aumentato il suo valore oggi registro una diminuzione di valore avuta in un intervallo di tempo di circa 45 giorni.
In un mese e mezzo il valore della mia collezione di carte ha perso il 16.67% di valore: -5484.30$.
Quanto valgono i token DEC nel mio wallet?
I token DEC (Dark Energy Crystal) sono i Token nativi del gioco di Splinterlands, sono la ricompensa per le vittorie in battaglia e si possono trovare anche all'interno dei forzieri.
I giocatori ricevono i forzieri come ricompensa per il completamento delle missioni giornaliere e come ricompensa per i risultati di gioco ottenuti alla conclusione della stagione di Splinterlands (ogni 15 giorni).
I token DEC sono degli utility token perchè hanno tanti casi d'uso:
- possono essere venduti e comprati su:

Nel mio wallet interno al gioco di Splinterlands ho un quantitativo totale di 170200 token DEC.
Oggi 18 dicembre 2021 il valore di 170200 token DEC è di 1480.31$ (Highest Bid su LeoDex/HiveEngine/TribalDex)
Come la mia collezione di carte anche i token DEC hanno subito un calo di valore negli ultimi 45 giorni.
Infatti il 3 novembre avevo 135788 token DEC il cui valore era di 1848.71$
Ricavi dalla vendita dei token DEC su Hive Engine
Il 5 ottobre 2020 ho venduto un quantitativo di 81000 token DEC e dalla vendita ho ricevuto in cambio 400,14 token HIVE che ho utilizzato per fare Power Up sulla mia amata Hive.
Quanto valgono i miei token PLOT?
Il 21 novembre 2020 ho acquistato 3 PLOTS ad un ottimo prezzo: 7500 DEC per plot.
Ho speso in totale 22500 DEC il cui valore in $ al momento dell'acquisto era di 19,66 $.
Se considero il valore attuale dei token DEC i 3 PLOT mi sono costati 130.43$.
I Plots sono stati venduti tutti e già da tempo.
Chi oggi vuole comprare un token PLOT può ancora acquistarlo ma solo dai mercati esterni al gioco di Splinterlands.
Oggi 18 dicembre 2021 il valore di 1 PLOT è di:
- 350 SWAP.HIVE = 542.5$ (Highest Bid)
- 398 SWAP.HIVE = 616.9$ (Lowest Ask)
Un PLOT che poteva essere acquistato a 20$ a fine anno 2020 oggi può essere acquistato a 616.9$!
Ai fini dei calcoli del risultato economico del mio report considererò il valore della migliore offerta di acquisto (Highest BID) su https://hive-engine.com/?p=market&t=PLOT che è di 350 SWAP.HIVE = 542.5$.
Il valore totale dei tre token PLOT in mio possesso è di: 350 HIVE * 3 plots = 1050 HIVE = 1627.5$ (valore report precedente: 2114.64$)
Anche il valore dei 3 plot in mio possesso è diminuto in 45 giorni di tempo perdendo il 23.04% del loro valore.
Farm DEC-USBD LP (V2)
Leofinance (https://leofinance.io/) è una delle comunità più attive di Hive e ha creato e sviluppato una piattaforma di finanza decentralizzata (DeFi) che si chiama CubFinance (https://cubdefi.com/).
Su CubFinance ho aggiunto liquidità alla Farm DEC-BUSD LP (V2).
Quando ho aggiunto liquidità l'APR della Farm DEC-BUSD LP era superiore al 70% mentre oggi è del 5.56% e per questo motivo nei prossimi giorni rimuoverò la liquidità da questa farm e immetterò i DEC nelle Diesel Pools della blockchain di Hive che non hanno costi di transazione e hanno APR molto più alti.
L'utilizzo della farm DEC-BUSD LP mi ha fatto guadagnare: 13.242 token CUB (Farm V1) + 3.04 token CUB (Farm V2)= 16.282 token CUB = 16.282 * 0.439$ = 7.14$.
Il valore dei token Splintershards (SPS)
E' in corso l'airdrop dei token Splintershards (SPS): i token di governance di Splinterlands.
L'airdrop dei token SPS è un airdrop di durata annuale e oggi 18 dicembre 2021 sono trascorsi 145 giorni dall'inizio dell'airdrop.
Come puoi vedere dai dati nell'immagine seguente in 145 giorni ho accumulato un totale di 15937 token SPS.
Il corrispondente valore in dollari è di 4097.05$.
Anche i token SPS hanno perso valore rispetto al valore che avevano il 3 novembre 2021.
Infatti nonostante ho incrementato il quantitativo di token SPS in mio possesso di +4806 unità il loro valore totale è diminuito del -36.32%.
Valore dei pacchi di carte acquistati ma non aperti
Tempo fa ho comprato 110 pacchi di carte della collezione Untamed dalla sezione Shop del sito di Splinterlands.
Ho aperto 90 pacchi di carte e ho ancora 20 pacchi di carte da aprire.
Oggi il valore di un pacco di carte della collezione Untamed su Hive Engine (Highest BID) è di 35.5 SWAP.HIVE = 55.025$ (valore report precedente 69.24$).
Il valore totale dei 20 pacchi di carte Untamed in mio possesso è di 1100.5$
In 45 giorni il valore è diminuito del -20.53%.
Valore dei token VOUCHER
Il token VOUCHER è un token distribuito tramite airdrop agli stakeholders dei token SPS ed è servito per acquistare 1 pacco di carte Chaos Legion durante la prevendita e serve ancora oggi per acquistare un pacco di carte Chaos Legion durante la Fase 2.
Durante la prevendita ho venduto tutti i token VOUCHER che ho ricevuto: 71.24 token VOUCHER.
Ho ottenuto dalla vendita 1439.23 token SWAP.HIVE il cui valore attuale è di 2230.811$.
La distribuzione dei token VOUCHER si è fermata il 16 novembre ed è ripartita l'8 dicembre con l'inizio della fase 2 della vendita Chaos Legion.
Dall'8 dicembre 2021 ad oggi ho ricevuto 57.15 token VOUCHER che ho deciso di vendere e ho ottenuto 182.807 token SWAP.HIVE = 283.35$
Dalla vendita dei token VOUCHER (prevendita + fase 2) ho ottenuto un guadagno totale di 2514.16$.
Utilizzerò tutto il guadagno ottenuto nell'acquisto dei pacchi di carte Chaos Legion durante la General Sale.

Adesso ho tutti i dati che mi servono (costi e ricavi) è posso calcolare il Profitto e il ROI che ho ottenuto dal mio investimento su Splinterlands dopo 25 mesi.

Considerazioni
Dalla data del mio ultimo report (3 novembre) ad oggi 18 dicembre, tutti gli assets di Splinterlands hanno perso valore e quindi anche il profitto e il ROI del mio investimento su Splinterlands è diminuito.
In 45 giorni il mio investimento ha perso il 15.75% di valore: -6969.84$.
Ma un profitto di 37282$ è comunque un eccellente risultato e continuo ad essere molto soddisfatto del mio investimento.
Tra l'altro tutti i progetti blockchain hanno avuto una flessione negli ultimi 30 giorni e per questo motivo il calo di valore che ho registrato nel mio report non mi preoccupa.
Sono pronto ad investire e immettere nuova liquidità nel gioco di Splinterlands perchè voglio acquistare almeno 1000 pacchi di carte della nuova collezione Chaos Legion.
Non ho già effettuato l'acquisto dei pacchi di carte Chaos Legion perchè per me i token VOUCHER sono al momento sopravvalutati e quindi preferisco venderli invece che utilizzarli.
Con l'avvicinarsi della fine della fase 2 di vendita (12 gennaio), i token VOUCHER dovrebbero perdere ancora valore e in quel caso potrei anche anticipare l'acquisto che in caso contrario effettuerà il 13 gennaio con l'apertura della General Sale.

Ogni gioco che prevede l'acquisto di carte e di token non è mai un semplice gioco ma è anche un investimento e come tale va considerato.
Io non sono un consulente finanziario e se decidi di investire nel gioco di Splinterlands lo fai per tua scelta, dopo aver fatto le tue personali valutazioni e considerato tutti i possibili fattori di rischio.
Il mio consiglio è di investire sempre e solo quello che puoi permetterti di perdere a cuor leggero.

Io se non ricordo male dovrei aver iniziato più meno quando hai iniziato tu, forse qualche mese dopo… la differenza tra uno che applica strategie mirate come le tue ed uno che va a sentimento c’è (quello sarei io). Comunque se faccio i conti anch’io ho avuto un bel return of investment. Splinterlands è attualmente uno tra i miglioi giochi play to earn bastato su blockchain, direi che è quello più completo attualmente (almeno tra quelli che ho provato io)
Sicuramente hai avuto un gran ritorno ne sono sicuro e aver continuato a giocare e credere nel gioco anche quando le carte valevano poco ci ha premiato e non poco caro @stefano.massari ;)

Confermo l’averci creduto è stato importante. Inoltre io ho provato altri giochi, gli ho dedicato del tempo, ma gli investimenti li ho fatti sopratutto su Splinterlands… perchè era l’unico che funzionava 1 anno e mezzo fa… gli altri giochi che avevo provato avevano diversi problemi.

Non posso che essere d'accordo su quanto questo gioco rappresenti un'opportunità allucinante che mai mi sarei aspettato... ancora ringrazio di essermi appssionato al gioco di per se poichè, ad oggi, mi ritrovo con una botta di culo che mi ha permesso di avere un mazzo di carte molto interesante e di ottenere ottim iguadagni investendo un cifra anche minore della tua, in realtà...
Purtroppo, negli ultimi giorni, forse a causa del lancio della nuova edizione, c'è stato un discreto crollo del valore di tutto un pò quello che è il mondo di Splinterlands in generale, ma credo che sia una cosa che valga anche per altri giochi e per le crypto in generale...

Given how long you've been playing Splinterlands and how much you've reflected on your investment, how would you invest the same ~$500 if you had to start today?
I've reached the point of wanting to begin buying into my more enjoyable blockchain games, but I'm having a hard time figuring out the best way to do that with Splinterlands. Should I buy vouchers and packs now, or wait for the sale to open up to general purchase, or buy valuable cards to compete with, or buy valuable cards just to rent, or. . . ?
To be clear, I'm not looking for "financial advice" so much as your perspective on good entry points for someone wanting to get more involved in Splinterlands. Really curious to learn what you'd do the same/differently if you had to start over.

Your question would require a post rather than a reply to a comment :)
When I started Splinterlands there were only 3 assets, today there are many more and the investment strategies can be multiple and also depend on the attitudes of a player which can be very different...
As for Chaos Legion, I personally considered the value of the vouchers to be less than $4 in the presale and less than $2 now and for this reason I sold all the vouchers.
My goal is to buy a minimum of 1000 Chaos Legion packs but I will most likely do that in the General Sale ;)

Gotcha, and now worries; this made enough sense to give me some ideas :)
I think I'll just chill, learning the game, until the general sale opens. It sounds like vouchers could be a good tool for leveraging additional packs in future releases, so I may borrow your idea ;P

If anyone in the web2.0 world made anywhere near that type of ROI they would be screaming and bragging as much as they possibly could.
Here on Hive, that type of bragging is unnecessary. I like earning in the game and then earning again blogging about my experience with the game :-)

Which pools are you thinking of? The only one with a much higher APR is the pizza-dec one. Be aware this one does not count to the SPS airdrop (unless something changed, in that case do let me know!). The swap.hive:dec pool does have a decent bxt reward which I'm currently using mostly.

You are absolutely right about the diesel pools
Today I added liquidity in the SWAP.HIVE:DEC pool which thanks to the BXT tokens has an apr of more than 10%.
I will also put something in the pool DEC:PIZZA and even if it doesn't count for airdrop SPS has a very high APR 130% ;)

Yes, in my monthly report I consider only the assets related to the game but if I also consider the income from the publication of posts and SPT tokens that I earned I have to add at least 5k and maybe more ;)
